A measurement method using an inductive proximity sensor connected to a cable, the measurement method including the following steps: applying to the cable an excitation voltage at a known reference frequency; acquiring a measurement voltage representative of the excitation current that flows in the cable and in the sensor under the effect of the excitation voltage; multiplying the measurement voltage both by a first reference signal in order to obtain a first measurement signal and also by a second reference signal in order to obtain a second measurement signal; using the first measurement signal and the second measurement signal to evaluate a measurement impedance representative of the impedance of the sensor and of the cable; using the measurement impedance to estimate the inductance of the sensor or the impedance of the sensor; and comparing the inductance of the sensor or the impedance of the sensor with a predefined detection threshold in order to obtain proximity information.

Measurement method and electronic measuring unit using an inductive proximity sensor linked to a cable

A measurement method using an inductive displacement sensor including a magnetic core and transformer with a primary winding and two secondary windings. The method includes an excitation phase of applying an AC excitation voltage across the primary winding terminals; acquisition phase for acquiring and digitizing two measurement voltages across the two secondary windings' terminals; first main processing phase performed on two measurement voltages including the steps of: multiplying the measurement voltage by a reference sine wave and reference cosine wave to obtain two resulting signals; carrying out a first integration of each resulting signal over a sliding window with width equal to the excitation period to obtain two integrated signals; carrying out a second integration of each integrated signal over a sliding window with width equal to half an excitation period to obtain two doubly integrated signals; producing amplitude of the measurement voltage from the doubly integrated signals; first final processing phase for producing a positional estimate of the magnetic core from the amplitudes of the two measurement voltages.

Measurement method using an inductive displacement sensor

A method for identifying the existence of a failure of a relay device in an electrical power supply system of a device to be supplied with power, the power supply system comprising at least one power generator configured to generate a power supply signal and a load comprising at least one relay device; the power generator comprising a frequency variator; each relay device comprising a quadripole and at least one antenna linked to the quadripole. The identification method comprises the following steps: a) selecting a characteristic frequency, b) determining the impedance of the load, then when the supply signal has the selected characteristic frequency, c) repeating steps a) and b) for several distinct characteristic frequencies, d) identifying the existence of a failure from several impedances determined for different characteristic frequencies.

A method for demodulating at least one received frame is provided, where the frame includes of a succession of bits coded according to a Manchester code. The method includes the steps of: generating an interruption at least at each appearance of a rising and/or falling edge of the frame of coded bits; determining the time between each interruption from at least one first counter; reinitializing the demodulation of the frame as soon as one of the determined times is less than a first predetermined value or greater than a second predetermined value, the first and second predetermined values being dependent on the duration of a bit coded according to the code; and demodulating, for each determined time, if the determined time is greater than the first predetermined value and is less than the second predetermined value, at least one binary value of the frame from the determined time.
