A storage drive assembly is provided. The storage drive assembly includes a storage drive sized and shaped for insertion into a slot within a chassis, a latching mechanism coupled to a first end of the storage drive, the latching mechanism including an actuation component actuable to transition the latching mechanism from a locked state in which the latching mechanism restricts displacement of the storage drive relative to the chassis to an unlocked state in which the latching mechanism enables displacement of the storage drive assembly relative to the chassis, and a drive secure cover plate adapted to removably mate with the latching mechanism in the locked state, the mated drive secure cover plate preventing physical access to the actuation component.

A busbar connector includes an insulator body, a positive power delivery contact, a negative power delivery contact, and a side band contact. The insulator body has first prong and a second prong oriented in a longitudinal direction and proximate one another with a gap therebetween. The positive power delivery contact is on a first inner surface of the first prong adjacent the gap, and the negative power delivery contact is on a second inner surface of the second prong adjacent the gap. The side band contact is positioned on the insulator body and insulated from the positive power delivery contact and the negative power delivery contact by the insulator body.

The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer readable media for enabling a power shelf unit to communicate a power throttle signal to devices of a power rack (or other grouping of devices) via a busbar. In particular, systems disclosed herein involve detecting a trigger condition associated with throttling power on server devices of a server rack. In response to detecting the trigger condition, systems here cause a direct current (DC) power supply voltage to change from an operating voltage to a notification voltage for a period of time to alert or otherwise communicate to server devices coupled to the busbar of the trigger condition. Causing the DC power supply voltage to change to the notification voltage may cause processors on server devices to throttle power consumption in accordance with one or more power capping policies implanted thereon.
