A bi-directional accessory attachment interface having an accessory attachment interface, wherein the accessory attachment interface is attached or coupled, at one or more attachment points/areas to an accessory to define a first vertical tunnel aperture proximate a first edge portion of the accessory attachment interface, a second vertical tunnel aperture proximate a second edge portion of the accessory attachment interface, a first horizontal tunnel aperture proximate a first edge portion of the accessory attachment interface, and a second horizontal tunnel aperture proximate the second edge portion of the accessory attachment interface, wherein a vertical tunnel is formed between the first vertical tunnel aperture and the second vertical tunnel aperture, and wherein a horizontal tunnel is formed between the first horizontal tunnel aperture and the second horizontal tunnel aperture.

Bi-directional accessory attachment interface

An integral accessory attachment system having an accessory body having an accessory panel, a connection portion, and an attachment panel, wherein one or more attachment elements extend as an integral extension of a portion of the attachment panel; and an attachment interface layer, wherein the attachment interface layer is attached or coupled to at least a portion of the attachment panel, wherein a plurality of attachment slots are provided through at least a portion of the attachment interface layer, and wherein at least one locking slot is formed through the attachment interface layer such that at least a portion of the attachment element is positionable through at least one attachment slot and wherein a narrowed portion of the attachment element is positionable within the locking slot.

Integral accessory attachment system

An interface portion having at least one locking aperture defined by a top wall and an opposing bottom wall and a pair of opposing, substantially equal length, parallel side walls, and wherein an upturned corner portion is defined between the top wall and each of the parallel side walls; and at least one attachment element extends from the interface portion, having attachment element notches formed in opposing side portions defining a neck portion, wherein the attachment element notches define barb portions, wherein at least a portion of the at least one attachment element is positionable through the locking aperture such that the neck portion is positionable within the locking aperture, and wherein if a withdrawing force is applied to the attachment element a portion of the barb portions engages a portion of at least one of the upturned corner portions to aid in resisting the withdrawing force.

Interlocking attachment systems

A multi-panel attachment system including an attachment interface panel having accessory attachment elements extending from an attachment interface portion, accessory attachment slots are formed through the attachment interface portion, at least a portion of the attachment interface panel is attachable to an accessory, and accessory apertures are formed through the accessory; an attachment panel having panel attachment elements extending from a panel interface portion, panel attachment slots are formed through the panel interface portion, and the attachment panel is releasably attachable to the attachment interface panel via interaction between the accessory apertures, the panel attachment slots, and panel attachment elements; and a flap panel having a flap interface portion, flap attachment slots are formed through the flap interface portion, and the flap panel is releasably attachable to the attachment interface panel via interaction between the accessory attachment slots, the flap attachment slots, and the accessory attachment elements.

Multi-panel attachment system

An integral accessory attachment interface having at least some of an attachment interface portion having a plurality of attachment slots provided therethrough; and at least one accessory attachment element extending as an integral extension of a portion of said attachment interface portion, wherein at least a portion of the accessory attachment element is folded over, proximate a junction between the attachment interface portion and the accessory attachment element, wherein at least a portion of the accessory attachment element is urged through an aligned attachment slot formed proximate the junction between the attachment interface portion the accessory attachment element, to extend through the attachment slot, from a front side of the attachment interface portion, and wherein the accessory attachment element is at least partially attached or coupled to a portion of the attachment interface portion to assist in maintaining the accessory attachment element through the aligned attachment slot.

An attachment aperture array pattern having an aperture array layer having a plurality of spaced apart array apertures formed therethrough, wherein the array apertures are arranged in a repeating sequence of spaced rows of array apertures and spaced columns of array apertures, wherein the plurality of spaced apart array apertures are arranged in a repeating sequence of equally spaced rows of the array apertures and equally spaced columns of the array apertures, wherein each of the array apertures is equally offset from each adjacent array aperture in each row of array apertures, wherein each row of array apertures is formed an equal distance from each adjacent row of array apertures, and wherein at least a portion of the array apertures of a first column of array apertures overlap at least a portion of the array apertures of an adjacent, second column of array apertures.

A modular attachment aperture array having an aperture array layer, wherein the aperture array layer comprises a plurality of spaced apart array apertures, wherein each array aperture is formed of two substantially equal length, substantially parallel sides and an arcuate side joining respective upper terminal ends and respective lower terminal ends of each of the arcuate sides, wherein each of the array apertures is formed through the aperture array layer, and wherein the array apertures are arranged in a repeating sequence of spaced rows and spaced columns, and wherein the aperture array layer is at least partially attached or coupled to at least a portion of the carrier material.

A modular attachment matrix array having a matrix array layer, wherein the matrix array layer comprises a plurality of spaced apart matrix array apertures, wherein each of the matrix array apertures is formed through the matrix array layer and is formed as an elongated octagon, and wherein the matrix array apertures are arranged in a repeating sequence of equally spaced rows and equally spaced columns. In certain exemplary embodiments, the matrix array layer is at least partially attached or coupled to at least a portion of a carrier material.

A releasable vest having a front panel; front shoulder strap elements that include at least one front shoulder strap attachment opening; a back panel; a first waist belt element and a second waist belt element that are releasably coupled to the front panel and extend from the front panel; at least one release loop that is capable of being passed through an opening formed in at least one of the waist belt elements and an opening formed in the front shoulder strap elements; and a release lanyard that is capable of being passed through the release loop so as to releasably secure the waist belt elements and the shoulder strap elements to the release loop.

A releasable vest having a front panel; front shoulder strap elements that include at least one front shoulder strap attachment opening; a back panel; a first waist belt element that extends from the front panel and has at least one waist belt element attachment opening formed through the waist belt element; a second waist belt element that extends from the front panel and has at least one release loop attached thereto, wherein the at least one release loop is capable of being passed through the waist belt attachment opening of the first waist belt element and the at least one front shoulder strap attachment opening of the front shoulder strap elements; and a release lanyard that is capable of being passed through the release loop so as to releasably secure the first waist belt element and the at least one shoulder strap element to the release loop.
