An apparatus is configured for attachment to a tub having a bottom wall and a plurality of wheels extending from the bottom wall. The apparatus includes a plurality of dual-hinged actuating mechanisms, a platform, and a handle. At least some of the plurality of actuating mechanisms include a first member configured to be fixedly positioned relative to the bottom wall; a second member; and a movable member comprising first and second ends, the first end hingedly attached to the first member and the second end hingedly attached to the second member. The second member is also attached to the platform. The handle is fixed to the movable member and is movable in an arcuate path. An assembly including the apparatus and a tub is also described.

A rollable support for a paint supply including a roller tray, or a 5-gallon pail, has a support wall that will receive the paint supply desired. The support wall is mounted on suitable rollers at least one end that engages a surface to permit moving the paint supply support across the surface. A pair of non-rolling feet are connected to the paint supply support through pivoting link so that the feet can be moved from a position wherein they engage the surface and lift at least one end of the paint supply support so the rollers at that end of the paint supply support are lifted off the surface, the feet are movable a position wherein the feet clear the floor and the rollers support the paint supply support. As shown, rails forming parallel links comprise the feet and both ends of the paint supply support are raised and lowered. The rails provide a stable mount for the paint container support and any supported paint container when they are lowered.

Walk through ladder extensions are provided to attach to the upper ends of ladder side rails, and define a wide unobstructed space between them. The extensions can be gripped by a user to steady the user as the user moves onto a roof of a building against which the ladder is placed.

A wheeled dolly or support for a ladder is made in two pieces, including a base plate that permanently affixes to an outside surface of a rail of a ladder, and a frame that is removably mounted on the base plate. The frame carries wheels that will support the ladder when the ladder is placed on edge and one end of the ladder is lifted. The frame normally is near a base end of the ladder. The frame that holds the wheels can be removed when desired for storage, or for use in a location where the wheels may restrict clearance around the ladder.

A wheeled dolly for the ladder has an axle that has a pair of wheels mounted thereon, which are spaced sufficiently apart for stability. The axle supports a central tube that will slip into a hollow rung of an aluminum or fiberglass ladder. The upright member has a transverse plate fastened in place for supporting a side rail of the ladder. The wheels on the axle will support one end of the ladder while the other end is raised by an operator for transport. The dolly will trail easily because of the offset of the line of force from the load of the ladder relative to the axle.
