Systems, methods and computer program products determine compliance of a chemical product to be manufactured to government regulations that govern the manufactured product. According to the invention, the chemical compositions that are present in the chemical product to be manufactured are ascertained. The chemical compositions so ascertained are compared to a stored set of government regulatory standards related to the chemical compositions to determine compliance. Accordingly, compliance with complex government regulations governing chemical products can be determined.

Disclosed are heat-resistant adhesive compositions comprising a copolyester derived from terephthalic acid, from about 30 to about 50 mol % diethylene glycol, and at least 50 mol % ethylene glycol, the polyester having an inherent viscosity of from about 0.4 to about 1.0. The composition is especially useful in bonding parts of ovenable food containers.

Hot melt adhesive compositions having low melt viscosity and high adhesive strength are disclosed. Disclosed are polyesters composed of 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid, terephthalic acid and 1,4-butanediol, wherein the 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid is within a critical range of about 25 to about 58 mole percent. These polyesters exhibit desirable adhesive properties.

The hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives of the present inventions are blends comprising amorphous polyolefin, a low molecular weight substantially amorphous elastomer, a liquid tackifying resin, and crystalline polypropylene. These pressure sensitive adhesives have a novel combination of properties including good adhesive properties at low temperatures.

Disclosed is a hot-melt adhesive composition comprised of an admixture of a polyetherester, polystyrene and optionally a filler. The adhesive composition exhibits a desirable overall balance of properties, including good bond strength, particularly after aging. In a preferred embodiment, the adhesive composition can be used to bond poly(vinyl chloride) to wood or particleboard.
