A toy building construction set includes a plurality of building units, each building unit including an integral panel, an elongate column, and a connection member. The panel has a first and a second connection structure. One of four sides of the elongate column is a generally U-shaped channel. The column channel receives and is engaged with the second connection structure. The other three sides of the elongate column each have female connection structures so as to provide a female connection side to the building unit. The connection member is engaged with the first connection structure. At least part of the connection member projects outwardly from the panel so as to provide a male connection side to the building unit The male connection side is configured to removably engage with the female connection side of a second building unit of the plurality of building units.

A motorized snake includes a chassis having a front end and a rear end with at least one ground contacting drive wheel. A neck is pivotally coupled with the front edge of the chassis to pivot forward and back. A head portion, which includes eyes and an extending tongue, is pivotally connected to the front portion of the neck. A multi-section tail including a trailer and at least one follower is coupled with the rear end of the chassis. The trailer has at least one ground contacting wheel and is coupled with the rear end of the chassis to pivot side to side on the rear end of the chassis. The one or more followers are coupled with the rear end of the trailer in a chain to pivot side to side on the rear end of the trailer. A motor or other prime mover in the chassis is drivingly coupled with the drive wheel to rotate the wheel to propel the snake and simultaneously with the neck so as to move the neck forward and back on the front end of the chassis, and also with the trailer so as to move the trailer side to side on the rear end of the chassis.

A toy airplane amusement game has a plurality of flip-up targets which are randomly laterally and longitudinally spaced on a web, and are transported past a miniature airplane facing the oncoming targets. The airplane is provided with manual controls for moving the airplane laterally and vertically across the web and into the paths of the successively oncoming targets for knocking them down. The controls include a linkage to allow the operator to align the airplane parallel to the path of travel of the oncoming targets in any selected position across the width of the web.

A roller skate includes a selectively engagable ratcheting plate that can be positioned for engaging a plurality of teeth formed integrally in one or more wheels of the skate. The plate rides on a cam that is slidably positioned for selective racheting or freewheeling operation. In the ratcheting mode the skate is prevented from rolling backwards thereby making it easier for a beginning skater to use.

A harmonica has a reed plate with a plurality of reeds overlying slots in the plate. The reed plate is mounted in a chamber of a housing, and the harmonica is played by forcing air from the player's mouth through passages in the housing and past the reeds. If a reed becomes separated from the plate, it is trapped in the chamber. This prevents a separated reed from travelling along the passages into the mouth of the player and possibly injuring the player.
