A system for communicating between a commercial aircraft and the base of the airline that chartered the same when the aircraft is itself located on the ground during the flight preparation phases and before unloading the commercial freight or passengers. A method implements such a communication system by the commercial flight staff and/or the aircraft captain to prepare a flight and the commercial freight unloading phase.

Device for communicating between aircraft flight personnel and the ground, and method implementing said device

A method for the maintenance of an aircraft including an avionics system including a set of operating units. The avionics system is connected to a ground-based infrastructure via at least one communication medium. Maintenance data stored in the ground-based infrastructure and relating to the malfunction of at least one operating unit are obtained via the at least one communication medium, and at least one operating unit is repaired on the basis of the maintenance data obtained.

The system establishes a network communication between a ground-based computer network and an aircraft-based computer network via at least one communication medium using a synchronous communication mode. The system can be used to simplify procedures involved in maintaining a fleet of aircraft connected to a maintenance control center (MCC) and, in particular, to facilitate and secure the updating of aircraft logbooks (e.g., a cabin logbook and technical logbook).
