An embodiment integrated electronic device comprises a mixer module including a voltage/current transconductor stage including first transistors and connected to a mixing stage including second transistors, wherein the mixing stage includes a resistive degeneration circuit connected to the sources of the second transistors and a calibration input connected to the gates of the second transistors and intended to receive an adjustable calibration voltage, and the sources of the first transistors are directly connected to a cold power supply point.

Device for generating radiofrequency signals in phase quadrature

A signal generation circuit includes a voltage controlled oscillator configured to generate a differential oscillator signal having an amplitude. A passive mixer has first differential inputs coupled to the voltage controlled oscillator to receive the oscillator signal. The passive mixer also includes second differential inputs. A filter circuit is coupled between the voltage controlled oscillator and the second differential inputs of the passive mixer. The filter circuit is configured to filter the differential oscillator signal as a function of the amplitude of the differential oscillator signal to thereby generate a filtered differential oscillator signal and to provide the filtered differential oscillator signal to the second differential inputs of the passive mixer.

Passive mixer with duty cycle improvement through harmonics level reduction

A low-noise amplifier (LNA) circuit utilizes the capacitive cross coupling technique with two pairs of NMOS transistors in conjunction with two cross coupled PMOS transistors to obtain a reduced noise figure. By using the cross coupling technique on the PMOS input transistor, the LNA circuit is able to reduce the noise figure below 2 dB without the use of an inductor. This LNA circuit may be used to amplify a signal in the WLAN band or the Bluetooth band, either independently or simultaneously.

Low-noise amplifier circuit

A transconducting device includes at least one transistor having a control electrode for receiving an input signal whose frequency spectrum contains two different frequencies, an output electrode for delivering an output signal, and a third electrode. The transconducting device further includes a voltage source for delivering a DC reference voltage, and a feedback controller for feedback-controlling the voltage on the third electrode to the DC reference voltage using a negative feedback loop. The negative feedback loop includes resistive damping, connects the third electrode and the control electrode, and has an open-loop gain greater than unity at a frequency equal to the frequency separation between the two different frequencies.

A radiofrequency amplifier device includes a transconductor stage having an input for receiving a radiofrequency signal, and a cascode stage connected to the output of the transconductor stage. The device also includes an auxiliary radiofrequency amplifier compensation stage connected as a negative-feedback loop between the output of the transconductor stage and the base or the gate of the cascode stage.

Radiofrequency amplifier device, in particular for cellular mobile telephone

A direct conversion type of frequency transposition device includes a transconductor block receiving the input signal and a current switching block connected to the output from the device. At least the common mode (I+I) is servocontrolled to static output currents from the frequency transposition device on a current proportional to a reference current (I) and independent of the static output currents from the transconductor block.
