A baler includes a baling chamber for baling a crop to form a bale, a wrapping installation for wrapping the bale with a wrapping material during a wrapping operation, a sensor for detecting a noise signal, a control unit which is connected to the sensor. The control unit is configured to characterize the wrapping operation on the basis of a noise signal from the sensor.

A gathering apparatus for selectively bringing together edges or sides of a film for wrapping around a bale includes a pair of gathering elements which cooperate with a respective edge of the film and which are movable by a drive. The drive is actuated by a motor and a reduction gear. A round baler includes a housing which has a housing part and an ejection flap which is pivotably mounted on this housing part about a bearing axis, and drivable pressing means which are allocated to the housing part and the ejection flap and which define a pressing chamber on the peripheral side, wherein the ejection flap is adjustable by means of a first adjusting apparatus such that when the ejection flap is opened an ejection opening is able to be formed between the housing part and the ejection flap and a dimension of the ejection flap is adjustable. The housing part comprises a retaining roller. The retaining roller is arranged so as to be adjustable between a resting position and a working position in which the retaining roller adopts a position disposed within the ejection opening.

A bale wrapping device for a round baler includes a wrapping material roller having a wrapping material. The wrapping material roller is able to be brought into engagement with a brake roller, and a cutting apparatus for cutting off the wrapping material from the wrapping material roller. A brake apparatus cooperates with the brake roller, and is actuatable by the cutting apparatus such that a rotational movement of the brake roller is able to be braked by the brake apparatus.

A bale wrapping device for a round baler includes a drive roller by which a wrapping material is able to be unrolled from a wrapping material roller. The drive roller is connected to a drive and brake apparatus. The drive and brake apparatus is connected to a brake belt which is able to be tensioned in a variable manner. The bale wrapping device further comprises a tensioning lever apparatus and the brake belt is connected to the tensioning lever apparatus. The pre-tensioning of the brake belt is adjustable by means of the tensioning lever apparatus between at least three different pre-tensionings.

An agricultural roundbaler includes a housing having a housing part, an ejection flap pivotably mounted on the housing part about a bearing axis, and drivable pressing apparatus arranged on the housing part and the ejection flap. The pressing apparatus define a bale pressing chamber on a peripheral side thereof. A control device operably pivots the ejection flap such that an ejection opening is formed between the housing part and the ejection flap. During an unloading process, the ejection flap is adjustably pivoted by the control device from an unloading position in which the fully pressed round bale is unloaded through the ejection opening to a retained position in which the unloaded round bale is retained by the ejection flap. The ejection flap is pivotable from the retained position to a relieved position in which the retained round bale is released by the ejection flap to eject from the pressing chamber.

The separating device is movable between at least one wrapping means separating position and an inactive position. An unloading device for unloading a round bale from a round baler includes a first support arm for unloading the round bale, a second support arm for unloading the round bale, and an actuator for operably controlling the first and second support arms. The first and second support arms are adjustably mounted on the round baler. Moreover, the first and second support arms are adjustably controlled by the actuator as a function of an unloading direction of the round bale.

A round baler includes a bale chamber in which a round bale can be produced, and a wrapping device with which a completely pressed round bale can be wrapped with a first film in the bale chamber, and a feed device for introducing the first film into the bale chamber. The invention relates to a round baler having a bale chamber in which a round bale can be produced, and a wrapping device with which a completely pressed round bale can be wrapped with a first plastic film in the bale chamber, and a feed device for feeding the first plastic film into the bale chamber. An enveloping device for enveloping a bale with an enveloping material for a baler includes a supply of the enveloping material. The supply is configured to feed the enveloping material to a pressing chamber of the baler through a feed gap. A braking device is provided for the enveloping material. The braking device is configured such that it has an effect that the enveloping material assumes an at least substantially predetermined position with respect to the pressing chamber of the baler to at least one working means of the baler or to the bale at either an end or a start of an enveloping operation.
