A method for assisting the construction and validation of an avionics platform uses, on the one hand, a functional description of the platform using avionics functions, software modules suitable for executing these functions, and functional link occurrences between these modules and, on the other hand, a material description of this platform using calculation or communication items of equipment and physical links between these equipment. The method according to the invention enables to generate paths between the various items of equipment by using direct physical links and/or physical links belonging to one or more network(s), and subsequently to associate at least one such path to be each functional link occurrence. It also enables to associate to each software module an item of equipment adapted to host it.

Method for assistance with the construction and validation of an avionics platform

A method for optimization of the avionics platform of an aircraft, intended to implement a set of avionics functions. The association between the platform's functional architecture elements (functions, functional links) and the elements of its equipment architecture (equipment, network paths, direct physical links) are formalized by sets of constraints in the form of linear inequalities of decision variables. Certain segregation or co-location functional constraints are also envisaged. Optimization of the avionics platform is achieved through the minimization of cost functions which are linearly dependent on said decision variables. This minimization under constraints is achieved in an effective manner by the Simplex algorithm.

Method for optimisation of an avionics platform

The invention relates to a method for configuring interfaces of computers belonging to an avionic platform. The platform implements a plurality of avionic functions which may exchange functional messages, each functional message comprising one or more parameters. Each avionic function is implemented by means of software modules hosted by computers. For each software module hosted by a computer, signal occurrences are generated for transmitting all the parameters of the functional messages of the function associated with the software module, this on the different communications media. Next all the occurrences are grouped per functional system, parameter and communications medium in order to configure the interfaces of these computers.

Method for generating interface configuration files for computers of an avionic platform

A method of routing the physical links of a avionics platform inside an aircraft. A physical link connects a plurality (N) of equipment units and is composed of one or more branches, where each branch of the link connects a sender equipment unit to a receiver equipment unit. The method makes it possible to minimize the total cabling length of the platform and, where applicable, to choose among various positions of the equipment units inside the aircraft and/or various routing graphs.

Method of routing the physical links of an avionics platform

A process for routing virtual links in a frame-switching network including a plurality of source and/or destination terminals of the frames, in which frame switches are connected to one another by physical connections, with each virtual link being defined, for a point-to-point type, by a path through the network between a source terminal and a destination terminal, and, for a multipoint type, by a plurality of paths through the network between a source terminal and a plurality of destination terminals. The process performs the routing of links by minimizing at least one cost function on a set of solutions satisfying at least one predetermined topological constraint.

Method of routing virtual links in a frame-switching network

A method for routing virtual links in a frame switching network including a plurality of source terminals and/or destination of the frames, frame switches being connected together through physical connections, each virtual link being defined, for a point-to-point type, by a path through the network between a source terminal and a destination terminal and, for a multipoint type, by a plurality of paths through the network between a source terminal and a plurality of destination terminals. The method carries out routing of the links while observing a segregation constraint with regard to triplets of consecutive switches belonging to the oriented loops, so as to allow verification of determinism of the network.
