A broach handle for a rasp includes a proximal part extending along a first axis between a first portion of the handle and a second portion of the handle, and a proximal part extending partially along a second axis between a third portion of the handle, connected to the second portion, and a fourth portion of the handle, and partially along a third axis between a fifth portion of the handle, connected to the fourth portion, and a sixth portion of the handle connectable to a rasp. The sixth portion of the handle has a connection surface for connecting to the rasp having a normal extending along a normal axis defining a connection axis between the handle and the rasp. A first convex angle is defined between the first axis and the second axis, and a second convex angle is defined between the third axis and the normal axis.

A patient limb positioning apparatus comprises a movement assembly operating on a coupling bracket which can be engaged with the patient's limb, to move the limb according to a plurality of axes of movement. The movement assembly comprises, for at least one of said axes of movement, a drive unit which can be activated to move the coupling bracket according to a predetermined direction of movement. A load transducer detects a load transmitted between the coupling bracket and the drive unit in the respective direction of movement, to emit a signal representative of a detected load value. An electronic control unit is selectively switchable to a load control command mode and is suitable to cyclically compare the measured load value with a pre-set load value, to control activation of the drive unit when the detected load value differs from the pre-set load value.

Various implementations include a guide for intramedullary reamer; that includes a central body adapted to be received in a medullary canal and defining an inlet opening and an outlet opening, communicating with each other by an axial cavity, passing inside the central body, adapted to receive a reamer inside it. The central body defines at least one non-rectilinear portion, interposed between the inlet opening and the outlet opening, shaped so as to guide the reamer inside the medullary canal, in axial alignment. The non-rectilinear portion defines a window adapted to facilitate the insertion of the reamer inside said central body.
