A method for dividing an analyte present in a solution and that is fixed on magnetic particles, and devices to be used in the method and systems for implementing the method. The method includes sedimentation of the magnetic particles together with separation into a plurality of residues. One implementation: forms at least a residue of magnetic particles in a first receptacle; and displaces the at least the residues towards a plurality of second receptacles, preferably by relative translation of a magnetic system. The second receptacle is connected to the first receptacle through a fluid channel.

The invention relates to a method of reading, detecting or quantifying at least one biological reaction, on a support, between either a recognition molecule and a labeled target molecule or between a target molecule and a labeled detection molecule. The inventive method comprises treating the support under physicochemical conditions that allow the following: either the separation of the recognition molecule and the labeled target molecule or the separation of the target molecule and the labeled detection molecule. The inventive method further comprises producing images before and after the physicochemical treatment that can be used to determine the specific and non-specific bindings between the different molecules. The invention also relates to hybrids and complexes used in the inventive method and to a biochip containing the same which is used to carry out the inventive method. The invention is particularly suitable for use in the field of diagnosis.

The invention concerns a method for isolating an analyte from an initial sample containing same, on a reactive surface in contact with all or part of the initial sample, characterized in that it comprises the following steps which consist in: 1) forming and/or maintaining a reaction volume entity, comprising an internal liquid medium, corresponding to all or part of the initial sample, the entity including an interface with an external medium, having with the latter a surface tension; 2) applying a temperature difference between at least two thermal points located: a) proximate to and/or b) on the surface and/or c) within said entity, said thermal points being respectively different, in terms of temperature and positioning; 3) fixing the analyte on the reactive surface, positioned on the path of forces convection generated by the temperature difference.

Method and device for isolation and/or determination of an analyte

A method for determining the presence, in a liquid medium, of a plurality of different nucleic ligands in the free state comprises: (a) providing a support for plural complexing on which are distributed a plurality of immobilizing sites in which are immobilized a plurality of different nucleic anti-ligands; and (b) contacting the liquid medium with the support, whereby the nucleic ligands are paired with the nucleic anti-ligands. The stability of each ligand/anti-ligand complex is dependent upon at least one exogenous parameter, namely temperature, conditioning the support; the immobilizing sites on the support are differentiated, depending on the exogenous parameter, having respectively different values in the sites; and the anti-ligands are distributed among the different immobilizing sites, depending on the optimum values of the exogenous parameter, determining the stability of the different nucleic ligand/anti-ligand complexes respectively. This method may be used for sequencing nucleic acids by hybridization.
