A sensor assembly for use within a flow conduit includes a sensor shield port extending between inner and outer ends of the sensor shield port through a wall of the flow conduit. The sensor shield port includes a port body defining a bore and extending between inner and outer surfaces of the port body. The sensor shield port further includes an outer port wall extending from the outer surface of the port body towards the outer end of the sensor shield port and an inner port wall extending from the inner surface of the port body. The sensor shield port includes one or more tabs extending from the inner port wall towards the inner end of the sensor shield port. The sensor assembly further includes an exhaust sensor inserted and removably coupled within the bore of the sensor shield port.

An exhaust after-treatment mounting arrangement is provided that is mounted outside of an engine compartment and has a perforated enclosure allowing air to permeate the enclosure and establish an airflow through the enclosure to maintain part integrity of components of an exhaust after-treatment system with maximum temperature thresholds. Components of the exhaust after-treatment system may be mounted to permit movement of such components relative to upstream and downstream components in the exhaust system. The enclosure is configured to prevent contact of the hot components by operators and/or flammable materials with small venting holes through top surfaces of the enclosure and large vent holes in bottom areas of the box that allow large volumes of air to easily flow into the enclosure.

Exhaust after-treatment mounting arrangement

A system is provided for directing airflow through an engine compartment of an off-road agricultural vehicle. The system may include an air dam that, in conjunction with an engine face, provides flow-directing baffling in the engine compartment that directs heated air from a radiator out discharge openings through side walls of a hood that covers the engine compartment. The air dam facilitates forcing heated air from the radiator sideways out the discharge openings of the hood, significantly reducing or preventing a radiator fan from pushing hot air to flow across the components of the rear engine compartment area, including preventing flow across a majority of air inlet components and engine surfaces that are rearward of the front engine face.

A self-propelled off-road agricultural vehicle such as a product applicator is provided with a system for torque control at shift points. The self-propelled applicator has a drivetrain configured with two power levels of its engine. One power level limits engine power output to a value at or below a shifting-state clutch rating of the transmission to protect the transmission while shifting. The second power level allows engine power to exceed a shifting-state clutch rating of the transmission when the transmission is not shifting.
