A nacelle for a jet engine having a selectively operated reverse thruster which redirects air flow to a cascade during a reverse thrust operation, the nacelle including a fancowl panel configured as a stationary partial cover for a jet engine; and a translating cowl panel configured to move transversely during a reverse thrust operation so as to expose a cascade for emitting reverse thrust airflow. In exemplary embodiments, a moveable automatic translating panel, or a rotatable hinge panel, or an extension portion of the fancowl is used to preserve clearance with an aircraft wing in a nacelle clearance area.

Nacelle system and methods of operation

An aircraft panel, notably a fuselage panel of the aircraft, includes at least one opening equipped with a surround intended to accept a closing-off device that closes off the opening. The panel includes at least one exterior surface. The surround surrounding the opening is fixed to the panel, forming an interface for fitting the closing-off device, and includes at least one lip extending towards the center of the opening. The lip supports the closing-off device. The surround has an external face interposed between the exterior surface of the panel and the closing-off device. The surround includes fixing apparatus which works by gripping the edge of the opening of the panel.

A wing box rib, joining an aircraft wing to the wing box and to the rest of the structure, extends advantageously over an adjacent part of the fuselage, having in particular an upper line situated above a junction line of the wing upper surface panel. The connection is simplified, as is the structure of the aircraft and its manufacture, a lightening is possible, and the transmission of stresses takes place in a more favorable manner.

An aircraft structure includes a wing spar (), with orbital frames () arranged in transverse planes, right and left horizontal spars () connected to the wing spar () at the upper panel () of the spar respectively to the right and to the left of the spar, and for each right or left horizontal spar (), a triangular panel () that includes a wall (), a first edge arranged at the horizontal spar (), a second side arranged at the wing spar (), and a third side at which a first rectilinear oblique reinforcement () connecting the horizontal spar () and the wing spar () is provided, characterized in that the triangular panel () includes at least one second rectilinear oblique reinforcement () that connects the horizontal spar () and the wing spar ().
