A plurality of containers fabricated from plastic preforms, wherein the form of each of the containers is partially defined, through expansion of the containers by other containers adjacent thereto. A package including a plurality of the plastic containers is also provided.

Method and apparatus for fabricating containers

The present invention is directed to a pack of products () having a bottom side () and an opposite top side (), comprising a handle () formed over the top side () and adapted to be grasped by hand. The handle () is formed by a plastic film () wrapped around the products () over at least one turn, the plastic film () covering at least most of the bottom side () and being gathered to a reduced width over the top side () to form the handle (). A handle () formed by a plastic film wrapped around the pack is reliable and easy to manufacture at a limited cost.

Pack of products comprising a handle

A composite package () comprises a plurality of primary packages () and a handle () attached at two extremities () thereof to said composite package (), the plurality of primary packages () being gathered into several secondary packages (), wherein said handle () comprises at least one separation line () which divides said handle () into a plurality of sub-handles () each attached at the extremities thereof to one of the secondary packages (), such that when one of said plurality of secondary packages () is extracted from the composite package (), said handle () separates along said at least one separation line () into a plurality of sub-handles () each attached to said one of the secondary packages () and retained therewith.

Multiple-container composite package

A plurality of preforms are positioned in relation to each other and an incompressible fluid is injected into a cavity of each of the preforms to induce them to expand into containers. A portion of the surface of each of the preforms comes into abutment with a portion of the surface of at least one other preform during the injecting step, such that the expansion of the preforms is constrained.
