An article of footwear that includes a bottom assembly, the bottom assembling including at least a wear sole and an element for reinforcing the bottom assembly, and an upper including a reinforcement element coupled to the reinforcement element of the bottom assembly. The coupling of the element for reinforcing the bottom assembly and of the element for reinforcing the upper is flexible at least in a transverse direction.

A boot including, on the one hand, a bottom assembly made of at least two layers, or one wearable layer and a core layer, and, on the other hand, a reinforcement element which is coupled to the core layer of the bottom assembly, wherein the reinforcement element is coupled to the core layer in a region located between the heel and the fore end of the bottom assembly, and it extends freely along at least one side of the upper into the rear region, and wherein a comfort layer is inserted between the user's foot and the core layer. The boot provides excellent lateral foot retention without there being any interference with shock absorption on the comfort layer, and this is achieved while allowing the heel of the bottom assembly free to bend.

The present invention relates to a sport boot in which the functions of tightening and protecting the foot are preformed by implementing a tightening device cooperating with at least one movable flap found outside the upper and adapted to be pressed against the latter, wherein a transverse cutout is obtained on the flank of the upper, opposite the movable flap, and wherein a thin flexible plate closes this opening from the inside of the upper, the flap being housed in the cutout during a tightening action.

A sport boot, particularly for performing a gliding sport, produced from an outer sole capable of being fastened at least to one forward part on a gliding member, and including a lower shank connected to a rear heel cap on which a rigid collar is hinged which is designed to surround the lower leg and which extends towards the top of the shank starting from the hinge beyond the upper end thereof, the boot also including an energized arrangement for the angular longitudinal control of the gliding element in the air in respect to the sole of the boot during the phase of advancement of the gliding element, which are disposed between a fixed point of the shank and a movable point of the hinged collar, and which include at least one resilient member constituting an energy source capable of being tensed in the course of a pushing phase on the ski and to relax in the course of the advancement phase, wherein the resilient member which constitutes the energy source is connected with a disengaging arrangement such that it is activated only between a position of the boot of equilibrium which is essentially median, and a position at the end of pushing.

Elongated bag, especially for golf clubs, of the type incorporating a carrying strap whose upper and lower ends are fastened to the bag (1) at upper (6) and lower (5) points of attachment, respectively. This bag comprises, above the upper point of attachment (6) of the strap (4), a support arrangement (7) for the forearm of the user of the bag when the strap is in place on the shoulder, this support arrangement (7) comprising an abutment portion (8) unitary with the wall of the bag (1) and a part (9, 12', 17) projecting outward from this abutment portion (8), the abutment portion (8) and the projecting piece (9, 12, 17) forming a support groove in which the forearm of the wearer of the bag may be placed.

Elongated bag

Golf bag formed of an upper plate and a bottom connected to one another by a tubular wall made of a flexible material affixed at each of its ends to the upper plate and bottom. The upper plate is provided with openings for the passage of golf clubs. An internal tensioning shaft extends longitudinally between the bottom and the upper plate. The tensioning shaft is spring biased such that the upper end of the tensioning shaft is engaged in a seat provided in the lower surface of the upper plate. The seat is in lateral communication with an access ramp on which the upper end of the tensioning shaft slides before engaging in the seat into which it is pushed by the spring bias.
