Apparatus for encasing a heat exchange unit. A wrapper is disclosed having solid portions for structural support of the heat exchange unit and fastening means including closure means formed on each end of the wrapper and a fastener strip which co-acts with said closure means to secure the wrapper in its appropriate position. Louver portions and solid portions of the wrapper are additionally disclosed to provide a structurally sound wrapper having spaced louver openings to allow air flow therethrough.

Wrapper for a heat exchange unit

Apparatus and method for exchanging heat energy between a refrigeration circuit and a hot water system. Water is heated in a combination refrigerant desuperheater-water preheater and then conducted to hot water storage. A co-axial fitting is disclosed for mixing heated water from the refrigerant desuperheater-water preheater with water in a hot water tank prior to discharging that water to a hot water system.

Co-axial fitting for use with a refrigeration circuit heat reclaim

A control circuit for a combination furnace and heat pump wherein a temperature dependent relay is connected to a thermostat such that the heat pump is operated to supply heat to an enclosure when the outdoor temperature is above a predetermined level and the furnace is operated to supply heat to the enclosure when the outdoor temperature is below a predetermined level. To defrost the outdoor coil of the heat pump the furnace is operated to supply heat to the indoor coil of the heat pump and a reversing valve relay is energized whereby the heat pump is operated in a reverse direction to supply heat to the outdoor coil for defrost.
