A matched arrow set including a first arrow and a second arrow. The first arrow including: a first shaft, a first bushing coupled to the first shaft, and a first nock received in the first bushing. The second arrow including: a second shaft, a second bushing coupled to the second shaft, and a second nock received in the second bushing. The first shaft and the first bushing define a first weight, the second shaft and the second bushing define a second weight greater than the first weight, and a first arrow weight is substantially the same as a second arrow weight.

High impact strength lighted nock assembly

A high impact strength lighted nock assembly for an arrow that is activated when the arrow is fired with a bowstring. The lighted nock assembly includes a nock molded from a high impact strength, transparent polymeric material containing at least 10% by weight reinforcing fibers. The nock includes a head configured to engage with the bowstring and a shank configured to couple with a rear end of the arrow. The shank includes a recess extending in a distal end of the shank toward the head. A light assembly including a light emitting device is located in the recess in the shank that is electrically coupled to a battery. A switch is electrically coupled to the light emitting device and the battery that is triggered when the arrow is tired to activate the light emitting device.

A high impact strength lighted nock assembly for an arrow that is activated when the arrow is fired with a bowstring. The lighted nock assembly includes a nock molded from a high impact strength, transparent polymeric material containing at least 10% by weight reinforcing fibers. The nock includes a head configured to engage with the bowstring and a shank configured to couple with a rear end of the arrow. The shank includes a recess extending in a distal end of the shank toward the head. An equipment carrier configured to secure at least one piece of equipment to a user, and corresponding method. The equipment carrier includes at least one equipment holder configured to be secured to the user. The equipment holder includes an engaging portion configured to receive the equipment. At least one tether includes a first portion attached to the equipment and a second portion attached to the user at a second location offset from the engaging portion. The at least one tether applies a tension force on the equipment to retain the equipment with the engaging portion of the equipment holder. The tension force is negligible when the equipment is disengaged from the equipment holder and positioned near the second location.

An ambidextrous charging handle for a semi-automatic rifle comprises left and right handles, a mechanism for securing the charging handle to the rifle when not in use, and at least one roller bearing positioned to facilitate smooth operation of the securing mechanism. Friction-reducing features may be provided to improve the sliding operation of the charging handle. Construction using aluminum or titanium permits the use of anodizing to improve surface toughness.

An illumination system for weapon optics includes a light source and one or more channels that direct light from the light source onto adjustment interfaces of a weapon optical device, such as windage and elevation turrets of a scope. A system for cocking mechanism for a crossbow that uses an elongated handle pivotally attached to the center support to move a traveler engaged with the draw string from a release configuration to a drawing configuration and into engagement with a trigger assembly. A ratcheting mechanism prevents the elongated handle from moving toward the open configuration as the crossbow is being cocked.

A high impact strength nock assembly that couples with, and decouples from, a bushing mounted in an arrow. The forces applied to the nock during launch are translated to the arrow through the bushing, greatly extending arrow life. For lighted nock applications, the nock translates within the bushing during launch to activate the light. A battery stop is coupled to the battery and releasably coupled within the center opening of the bushing that resists longitudinal translation of the battery relative to the bushing. Consequently, the light can be deactivated without removing the lighted nock assembly from the bushing. The entire lighted nock assembly is removable from the bushing for maintenance and replacement.

A bipod with a quick connect feature that engages with a standard rail. The bipod includes a pair legs pivotally attached at a pivot axis. A biasing mechanism is coupled to the legs that has a dead center position when the legs are in an intermediate configuration between a deployed configuration and a collapsed configuration. By shifting the biasing mechanism to one side or the other, the legs are automatically deployed to either the deployed configuration or the collapsed configuration. The biasing mechanism maintains the interface with the rail when in the deployed configuration and retains the lower portions of the legs adjacent each other in the collapsed configuration.

The primary pointer system includes a primary pointer attached to the micro-pointer system to provide an indication of an elevation setting. The micro-pointer system employs a micro-adjust mechanism that simultaneously displaces a micro-pointer and a primary pointer in an accurate and repeatable manner in relation to respective scales on the body of the sight.

An equipment carrier comprises one or more support members, an equipment holder, and an extensible tether. The equipment holder receives and retains an equipment item. The support members support the equipment holder against a wearer's torso or limb. The extensible tether is attached to the carrier is attached to the equipment item. An adapter that optically couples a camera on a mobile device to an eye piece of an optical device. The adapter includes a base plate configured to retain the mobile device without obstructing a display screen on the mobile device. The base plate includes an optical interface configured to attach to the eye piece of the optical device. A mounting structure is configured to secure the optical interface to the eye piece of the optical device. The mounting structure includes a high friction interface that prevents rotation of the adapter relative to the eye piece. An adjustment system with threaded micro-adjust mechanisms is configured to move the base plate relative to the optical interface in at least two degrees of freedom to optically couple the camera on the mobile device with an optical axis of the eye piece. Images captured by the optical device are displayed on a viewing screen of the mobile device.

A de-cocking mechanism for a bow having an energy storage assembly mounted to a center support with a draw string that extends across the center support coupled to the energy storage assembly. The bow includes a trigger assembly that retains the draw string in a drawn configuration. The de-cocking mechanism includes a de-cocking actuator that automatically releases the draw string onto the de-cocking mechanism when the de-cocking mechanism engages with the trigger assembly. The user can then manually move the draw string from the drawn configuration to a released configuration. The de-cocking mechanism is preferably combined with a cocking mechanism.
