A service tool wireless access management system includes a wireless access interface and an equipment service system comprising at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to enable the wireless access interface responsive to a wireless access request initiated through a service tool, establish a wireless communication session with the service tool through the wireless access interface, and disable the wireless access interface responsive to a wireless communication termination event.

Service tool wireless access management

A service tool credential management system includes a storage medium operable to store a plurality of instructions and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to send a credential request to a networked server to access an equipment controller with a service tool. The at least one processor is further configured to execute the instructions to receive an access credential responsive to the credential request and utilizing one or more fields of the access credential during interactions with the equipment controller to enable a level of access for the service tool to the equipment controller corresponding to the access credential.

Service tool credential management

A service tool function availability adjustment system includes a storage medium operable to store a location-based function availability map and at least one processor configured to determine a location of a service tool in relation to one or more equipment components of an equipment service system. The at least one processor configures an availability of one or more functions of the service tool to interact with the one or more equipment components of the equipment service system based on the location-based function availability map and the location of the service tool.

Service tool location-based function availability

A service tool proximity detection system includes a service tool and an equipment controller. The service tool is operable to establish communication with the equipment controller of an equipment service system. At least one processor of the service tool proximity detection system is configured to generate a location proximity indicator to verify proximity of the service tool to a predetermined service location of the equipment service system, determine that the service tool is located local to the predetermined service location based on verifying that a response to the location proximity indicator matches an expected response, determine that the service tool is located remote from the predetermined service location based on verifying that the response to the location proximity indicator fails to match the expected response, and configure one or more functions of the service tool based on the location of the service tool relative to the predetermined service location.

Service tool proximity detection

A keyless chuck having an outer chuck with spaced grooves, an inner chuck and chuck jaws, where the keyless chuck is mounted on an output shaft of a drill motor. A sleeve locking device mounted between the outer chuck and the drill motor housing, where the sleeve locking device has spaced inner teeth to engage the spaced grooves of the outer chuck to lock the outer chuck stationary, allowing the inner chuck to rotate and opening or closing the chuck jaws to install and remove drill bits.

A binary data communication system includes a transmitter unit coupled to a receiver unit via a communications link. The transmitter sends a message signal packet to the receiver. The packet includes data arranged according to mixed protocols. The receiver unit includes a program for detecting both protocols, and for converting data from one protocol (or format) into the other format.

Binary data electronic communication system

A porch enclosure system for enclosing a porch having a framework including a pair of side members with vertical parallel slots, a top member for housing a motor mechanism and storing a plurality of glass panels and a bottom member for receiving a reciprocating shuttle. The plurality of glass panels each having a weatherseal either on the top edge of the preferred embodiment or on the lower edge on a second embodiment and slot engaging side edges. The motor mechanism is connected to the reciprocating shuttle by cables to raise and lower the shuttle. The shuttle carries the glass panels up and down in the slots where each panel is stopped by a pair of removable stops in each slot in a relationship to create an enclosure. The bottom member and side member slots cooperate to remove all or individual glass panels. The bottom member has a removable panel and the slotted side members have unslotted areas where glass panels are quickly and easily removed by removing the stops.

A dispenser for squeezing a collapsible tube including a housing with a reciprocating wall where the wall has a tooth gear for engaging and moving a mechanical follower along a collapsible tube to dispense paste each time the reciprocating wall is reciprocated. A closure is opened and closed with each reciprocation of the reciprocating wall to dispense the paste.

An assembly for facilitating the quick connection and disconnection of appliance cables to the terminals of a storage battery and preventing corrosion at the terminals, including a pair of connectors defined by insulating caps enclosing conductive sleeves, and a releasable clamp engageable with the battery for securing the connectors against their respective terminals, including the improvement of a simple releasable clamp.
