A crampon including a body extending lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, widthwise between a first side and a second side, and heightwise between a supporting surface and a receiving surface, the crampon including points projecting in the area of the supporting surface, as well as a first member for retaining a boot in the area of the receiving surface, the first retaining member being movable between a locking position and an unlocking position, the crampon further including an elastic mechanism provided for biasing the first retaining member toward the locking position. On the side of the receiving surface, the crampon includes a return adapted to cooperate with the boot, the return biasing the first retaining member toward the unlocking position when the boot approaches the receiving surface, the return allowing the first retaining member to move back toward the locking position when the boot is in place on the receiving surface.

Footwear crampon

A cross-country ski includes a cross-country ski having a central area for receiving a ski binding device for fixing a ski boot to the ski. The fixing area includes a space for receiving the binding device and a top bearing surface of the ski which is applied to at least one side of the space for receiving the binding device and on which the boot is directly connectable when the user applies a pressure force.

A boot including an outer sole assembly, the outer sole assembly extending lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, widthwise between a lateral side and a medial side, and heightwise between a free surface and a connection surface, the outer sole assembly having a longitudinal groove that opens out in the area of the free surface. The longitudinal groove opens out in the area of the free surface, the groove having a length ranging between 30 and 100% of the length of the outer sole assembly, a width ranging between 25 and 45 mm, and a depth greater than or equal to 4 mm, the groove being compatible with one or more guiding ribs.

An assembly including a plate, a base, and a device for removably attaching the plate to the base. Dual-control binding device

An assembly for affixing footwear to a gliding board, such as fixing a boot to a cross-country ski, such assembly including a retention device, or binding, an interface to be positioned between the retention device and the gliding board, the interface having a receiving surface for receiving the retention device and the retention device having a support surface to be supported on the interface, the receiving surface of the interface and the support surface of the retention device being mechanically non-compatible. Device for binding a boot to a sports article having a separate elastic return system

A device for binding a boot to a sports article allowing the heel of the boot to be raised with respect to the sports article, of the type in which the boot has a first connecting zone positioned at the front of the boot, and a second connecting zone positioned rearward of the first connecting zone. The device includes an attachment arm having a fixed length, the attachment arm being articulated to the base of the device at a first of two fixed points of the attachment arm and adapted to be joined to the second connecting zone of the boot at a second of the two fixed points of the attachment arm. A guiding mechanism slidably guides the first boot connecting zone relative to the base of the device.

Binding device having a pivotable arm

A reinforcement for a boot, in particular a sports boot, more particularly a cross-country ski boot. The boot reinforcement makes it possible to improve the torsional stiffness, efficiency, durability, lightness, cost, foot protection, and industrial workability. To achieve this goal, the boot reinforcement according to the invention includes a front zone A from the front end up to the beginning of the plantar arch, a median zone B corresponding to the plantar arch, a rear zone C. The reinforcement includes, at least in the zones B and C, at least one 'sandwich' structure constituted by at least one core inserted between at least two layers, and, in the zone A, it is flexible in a substantially longitudinal direction and torsionally stiff. The layers of the sandwich structure are made of composite, carbon fibers/polymeric resin, whereas the core of this sandwich structure is made of synthetic foam, wood or honeycomb. Each zone A, B, C has a longitudinal flexural strength RfA, RfB, RfC, such that RfA&#x3c;RfB&#x2266;RfC. The invention also relates to a sports boot including such a reinforcement.
