A switch drive for a rotary switch includes a driven shaft at its input and a switch drive shaft at its output. The input shaft supports a lever for transmitting the movement of the input shaft to a pinion fixedly connected to the lever. The pinion rolls along an internal toothing and supports an engaging member which is in slidable engagement with a switch arm connected to the switch drive shaft.

Switch drive for a rotary switch

An antenna matrix switch bay includes a housing which is subdivided in a plurality of chambers defining a matrix configuration of coaxial transmitter switches and coaxial antenna switches provided with opposing fixed contacts in row direction and column direction. Each chamber of the housing contains one single switch whereby one transmitter switch and one antenna switch define a node and have a common switch drive shaft perpendicular to both planes. The switch drive includes a straight switch member in each plane and a double-cranked switch member insulated from the switch members and connecting the fixed contacts of one plane with those of the other plane.

Coaxial RF switch matrix

A coaxial-line connector includes a jack having an outer conductor and an inner conductor part divided in at least two segments and arranged in said outer conductor. Clamped in the inner conductor part defining the jack is an inner conductor part forming the plug. At least one pressing screw is arranged in a radial bore of the outer conductor to exert a radial clamping force on the segments to attain a reliable and tension-proof connection between the inner conductor parts. The setscrew is accessible so as to allow an adjustment of the clamping force.

Coaxial-line connector

A coaxial-line section includes an outer conductor and an inner conductor tube centered coaxially inside the outer conductor and contacted by couplings which are supported by insulators or beads. The couplings are provided at their facing ends with a ring of laminated springs which allow the thermal expansion of the inner conductor tube. Extending inside along the inner conductor tube are two preferably bar-shaped displacement compensating elements. The axial inner end of each displacement compensating element is firmly anchored to the inner conductor tube while its axial outer free end defines with the end faces of the respective coupling a stop face.

Coaxial-line section

A cooled waveguide assembly includes a plurality of extruded waveguides connected to each other via their respective flanged portion. Each waveguide has an outer profile corresponding to the outer dimensions of the flange portion which is created by suitably fabricating the end sections of each waveguide. The flange portion is provided with a plurality of boreholes which are in alignment with pockets to allow fasteners to be inserted therein so as to connect adjoining waveguides. Integrated in the wall of each waveguide are cooling channels which are arranged in such a manner that they do not intersect with the boreholes. The cooling channels and the interior of the waveguides are sealed at the respective joints by a profiled sealing element.

Cooled waveguide assembly

A device for pressure sealed connection of the outer conductor of a coaxial line to a connector or the like includes a screw cap which presses the flanged end section of the outer conductor via an intermediate element against an annular contact surface of a plug socket of the connector. Arranged in the contact plane as defined by the annular contact surface between the end section of the outer conductor and the plug socket is an O-ring which thus is accommodated within the HF-space.
