A cylinder breech block device () of a repeating firearm has a breech block cylinder () pivoted in a system housing () of the repeating firearm for execution of repetitive action thereof and capable of being locked to said system housing () for firing a round. A firing pin () capable of being cocked by a tension spring is mounted for linear displacement in the direction of a cartridge () stored in a magazine () of a barrel (). Cocking of the firing pin () is effected by causing rotation, through a predefined angle, of a breech bolt handle () rigidly connected to a tension crown ring () that is pivoted on a central shaft () of the breech block cylinder ().

A locking block device () provided in the region of a cartridge chamber () of a handgun barrel () has a locking block () for releasably locking the barrel () to a breech prior to firing, and has a control member () having a control guide () for swinging out the barrel (), after firing, for the purpose of separating the barrel () from the breech, and further has a feed ramp () formed in the region of a stop member () of the locking block () for feeding a cartridge, stored in a magazine of the handgun, into the cartridge chamber () following ejection of a fired cartridge. A modular design capable of being adapted to meet specific requirements is achieved in that the feed ramp () is formed on a ramp member () capable of being separated from the locking block () and releasably locked to the locking block ().

In a recoil-spring device () in a handgun equipped with a breech and a recoil spring () in the form of a spiral spring, whose rear end abuts a rear stop member () on a recoil spring rod () and whose front end is mounted for movement along the recoil-spring rod () with contraction of the recoil spring (), support in an uncomplicated recoil-spring eyelet is achieved in that the front end of the recoil spring () abuts, at least indirectly, a rear contact surface () of a contact element () that is mounted for movement along said contact-spring rod (), while the front contact surface () is in contact with an internal surface of the breech of the handgun.

A breech device () for a handgun has an impact base () in a central recess () in said breech device (). The impact base () is in the form of a front end face of an impact-base member () in the central recess. A main functional region () is between said impact base () and a rear end face () of said breech device. At least one percussion member () for firing a cartridge and also a surface of a cartridge slide () are in the main functional region (). The surface of the cartridge slide () is adapted to abut cartridges mounted in a magazine () in a neutral position of the breech device.

In a trigger system () comprising a hammer () for firing a cartridge, a striker () adapted to accelerate the hammer (), and a sear () for releasably locking the striker (), which sear () can be unlocked by means of a release device () capable of being actuated by means of a trigger bar () that can be moved by a trigger (), wherein a front surface () of the striker rests against an end face () of the hammer for the purpose of accelerating the hammer () to initiate firing, protection of the cocked hammer () from external mechanical influences is made possible by mounting the hammer (), the striker (), the release device (), and also a main spring () adapted to accelerate the striker () for rotation about a common principal axis ().

Trigger system

An exchangeable adapter assembly for a handgun includes a handle frame having a trigger and a handle, into which a magazine can be inserted. A quick changeover is ensured by the assembly in that in the rear and front regions of the handle frame at least one adapter element is provided which cooperates with a rear and front adapter piece of a grip enhancer for attachment of the grip enhancer 100 to the handle frame. In the rear part of the handle frame there is also provided an eyelet device which, when the grip enhancer is attached to the handle frame, positively engages a bore in the grip enhancer. A securing pin can be releasably inserted into the eyelet device in order to releasably connect the grip enhancer to the handle frame.
