A shower device according to the invention includes a shower head housing having a jet disk and a multiplicity of jet outlet openings. The jet outlet openings are divided into multiple groups of jet outlet openings. For each group of jet outlet openings, a distinct chamber is formed in the shower head housing. A water inlet can for example be connected by means of a change-over valve to in each case one of the chambers fluidic in parallel. The two chambers are arranged consecutively in the shower head housing. The water exiting the rear chamber as viewed relative to the jet disk can for example pass through the front chamber in a sealed channel or as a jet, which passes through a larger opening of the jet disk.

Shower device

A shower head for a hand-held shower attachment contains, in the center of its jet disc, an insert with three individual nozzle bodies. Each individual nozzle body is designed for discharging an individual jet. To this end, it has a continuous jet opening. Each of these in individual nozzle bodies is mounted in a manner that enables it to move relative to the shower head and to the jet disc, and is placed in rotation by a water-driven rotor. Said continuous jet opening extends at an angle to the rotation axis of the individual nozzle body. When the individual nozzle body rotates, the jet exiting there from moves on an envelope of a cone. Each individual nozzle body, contains an aerating device that aspirates the air immediately next to the outlet opening and, inside the individual nozzle body, mixes the air with the water entering this individual nozzle body. As a result, the individual nozzle body discharges an aerated jet.

Showerhead for a sanitary fitting

A shower head with a housing and a jet outlet surface can be achieved with an example embodiment of the invention. An adjuster device is provided on one side, for adjusting the supply of water to individual or all regions, into which the jet outlet surface is divided. The above can be a central small region and the region surrounding the above. Furthermore, an air supply device is provided for aerating the water jets. The air supply device is simultaneously operated with the switching between the regions.

Shower head with air introduction

A water jet aerator (jet controller) for a water outlet of a sanitary fitting has a substantially cup-shaped, plastic housing in which is located a device for mixing air with water made from a stable dimensionally rigid thermoplastic. The housing has a housing base molded in one piece therewith and which is constructed as a jet stabilizing device and is provided with water outlets between jet limiting walls parallel to the flow direction and which at the water outlet end have an elastic plastic surface. In the invention the jet limiting walls, at least in the vicinity of the water outlet, are solidly constructed from the elastic plastic over their entire wall thickness and are molded in one piece with the housing.

Water jet aerator (jet controller)

A shower head, which can e.g. be the shower head of a hand shower, contains a jet discharge disk with two groups of jet outlets. The first group of jet outlets is continuously in operation and delivers an aerated jet. A second group of jet outlets can be switched in to said first group of jet outlets with the aid of a switching device.

Shower head

A shower head contains a jet outlet element, which is pivotably mounted in the shower head. It is moved by a mechanism in such a way that a guide journal remote from the outlet opening is moved along two closed, touching circles. At the point where the two circles touch, the guide journal can be moved from one circle into the other with the aid of a transfer device.

A shower head contains in its interior four nozzle elements, whose front ends are mounted in funnel-like openings of the jet disks. The rear ends of the nozzle elements are eccentrically mounted in each case one disk, which can be rotated about a fixed axis with the aid of a turbine wheel. Thus, the nozzle elements out of which the water flows perform a wobbling movement about an axis perpendicular to the jet disk.

A description is given of a sanitary article or object, particularly a hand-operated shower, having a changeover device ( ) for controlling a liquid flow, the sanitary article having a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet, as well as an air suction device which can be turned on or off by operating the changeover device in the manner of a water jet pump. The changeover device is so constructed that a passage cross-section formed between the liquid inlet ( ) and liquid outlet ( ) can be widened on turning off the air suction device. For this purpose, in addition to the pump jet opening ( ) of the air suction device, it is possible to open a ring channel-like, further passage cross-section ( ) arranged concentrically thereto. Whereas with the air suction device turned on and limited water consumption it is possible to produce a highly aerated, soft-feeling water jet, with the air suction device turned off roughly twice the water quantity can be delivered in the form of a powerful water jet suitable for massaging purposes.

A coupling means for connecting two water-handling parts, more particularly rigid or flexible tubular elements, comprises a nipple element, a bush element and a coupling element. The coupling element is arranged on the nipple element or the bush element and movable relative thereto. For assembling the coupling means the nipple element is introduced linearly into the bush element, the coupling element moving by itself into the release position against the force of a spring. As soon as the nipple element is completely inserted, the spring forces the coupling element into a latched position in which the coupling is completed. In this latched position the coupling element can be turned further for adjusting an additional means.

Releasable coupling means for connecting two tubular elements

A connecting means for a water flow appliance, for example a hand shower, contains a connecting element connected to a water guide, for instance, a house water mains. Arranged in the connecting element is a sieve element which can be shifted between a sieve position, in which it acts a sieve, and a cleaning position in which it is possible to remove the particles retained in the sieve element. The sieve position is always assumed when a connection is made to the connecting means. When this connection is removed the sieve element can be translated into the cleaning position for example by water pressure. The water flow can be passed through said sieve element in the cleaning position preferably in the reverse direction so that said sieve element is back-washed.

A shower having a shower head and a jet disk with a plurality of jet exit openings contains a cleaning device, which within the shower head has for each jet exit opening a pin, which is insertable in and reextractable from the jet exit opening. For moving the pins of the cleaning device a turbine is provided, which is driven by the water flowing into the shower head.

The invention relates to a water jet aerator which, in place of conventional metal screens, has at least two separate staircase-like obstacles, which project laterally into the paths of the individual jets and split up the jets, and mix them with air. Several such obstacles are arranged in the immediate proximity of one another, successively in the direction of flow, so that a cohesive, well-ventilated jet is obtained. The configuration of the jet cross-section can vary as a function of the arrangement of the facing walls defining the flow path in the area of the obstacles.
