The invention relates to a ski boot with an element in shell form, which at least partially consists of a plastics compound material, wherein the compound material comprises a mixture of caprolactam polyamide and ionomers, and to a method for the production thereof, such that cations and anions of the ionomers form ion bonds, wherein elastic components of the compound material form a physical network that is soluble between 60&#xb0; C. and 100&#xb0; C., and so the element in shell form of the ski boot that at least partially consists of the compound material can undergo thermoforming below 100&#xb0; C.

Boot with an element in shell form

A ski boot with an element in shell form at least partially contains a plastic compound material. The compound material contains a mixture of caprolactam polyamide and ionomers, such that cations and anions of the ionomers form ion bonds. Elastic components of the compound material form a physical network that is soluble between 60&#xb0; C. and 100&#xb0; C., and therefore the element in shell form of the ski boot at least partially containing the compound material can undergo thermoforming below 100&#xb0; C.

An apparatus and a method for adapting a prefabricated item of footwear that is formed, at least in part, of hard thermoplastic material, to a user's foot and/or leg. A pressure-exerting element is provided that substantially encloses the item of footwear and that has an accommodating space into which the item of footwear can be placed. The accommodating space is bounded, at least in part, by a deformable material which forms an inner layer of the pressure-exerting element, which contains a cavity and has an inlet opening provided for the introduction of a pressure application fluid. The pressure-exerting element is formed with a portion into which the pressure application fluid cannot enter.

Apparatus and method by means of which an item of footwear is adapted

A method for producing a shoe that can be adapted to the foot of a wearer, is made of hard, thermoplastic synthetic material and is worn for sports, includes heating a prefabricated shoe at least in sections and adapting the shoe by applying pressure from the outside and by shaping the heated area. The shoe is then cooled, a correction strip, which is made of a hard material and is taken from the foot, is introduced in to the prefabricated shoe and the heated shoe is pressed onto the correction strip by applying pressure. A strip correction and a shoe are also provided.

Method for producing shoes, strips therefor and shoe

The invention describes a ski binding (), with guide elements () which can be mounted or pre-fitted on a ski () in the binding longitudinal direction (), for a front and a rear jaw body (). A first coupling element () is connected to the front jaw body () and a second coupling element () is connected to the rear jaw body (). Mutually facing end portions () of these coupling elements () co-operate with a positioning and fixing mechanism () disposed between the jaw bodies () in order to adjust and retain the jaw body () as necessary. An overlap width () between the two coupling elements () can be varied to make an individual adjustment for different jaw distances (). At least one coupling element () is provided with at least two mutually parallel rows () of positioning elements (), and these positioning element-rows () are disposed offset from one another in the binding longitudinal direction (). An offset distance () between adjacent rows () of positioning elements () represents a step dimension for an overlap step width between the coupling elements ().

Ski binding with a positioning and fixing mechanism for the jaw bodies

The invention relates to a connecting device () between a boot () and a board-like type of sports equipment (), in particular a ski binding. The connecting device comprises a toe or front binding fixture () that can be associated with the tip () of the boot, and a heel or rear binding fixture () that can be associated with the heel area () the boot (). The binding fixtures each have a sole holder () for engaging the boot (). The boot is clamped between the sole holders with a pre-tensioning force that is applicable via a pre-tensioning spring (). A release device () for the sole holder () is arranged between the sole holder () and a bearing block () of the toe and heel binding fixtures (), and provision is made for a joint arrangement for rotationally supporting the sole holder () and the bearing block (), the latter being arranged fixed on the ski, in relation to one another in at least two three-dimensional directions extending perpendicularly to each other, whereof one direction is aligned vertically to a support surface () supporting the bearing block () on the board-like type of sports equipment (). The joint arrangement disposed between the bearing block () and the sole holder () or at least one sole holder component (), is formed by at least one ball-and-socket joint ().

Connecting device between a boot and a board-like type of sports equipment, particularly a ski binding

The invention relates to a coupling device () between a sports shoe () and sports device (), with a toe piece () and a heel piece () and a brake device () mounted between the latter for the sports device (), with a longitudinal guide () mounted on the surface () of the sports device () for the heel piece (), in which the heel piece () is guided laterally and vertically in dimensions perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The brake device () is provided with guiding elements () that can engage in the guiding track () of the longitudinal guide () and between the brake device () and the heel piece (), a longitudinal coupling device () is arranged for mobile connection with the heel piece () and the brake device () is guided in a play-free manner exclusively by the guiding track () in all dimensions running perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guiding track ().

Coupling device

A mechanism for braking a ski () released from a sports boot and for holding together skis () placed back to back with one another by their runner surfaces () if necessary. Catch elements () are provided respectively on mutually facing inner sides and an oppositely lying outer sides of the brake arms () and a catch element () dispersed at least on the inner sides can be moved into a positive connection with at least one co-operating catch element () disposed on the outer sides in order to produce a higher resistance to counteract mutually crossing assembled brake arms () of two brake mechanisms () from sliding apart from one another.
