A connector housing for an electrical connector includes a receiving portion arranged inside a cavity of the connector housing. The receiving portion is adapted to receive an electrical contact terminal. The receiving portion further comprises at least one latching nose adapted to block a release movement of the electrical contact terminal upon insertion of the electrical contact terminal into the connector housing. The connector housing comprises a reinforcement element made of a material different than the material of the connector housing. Said reinforcement element is arranged on a surface of the connector housing and adapted to reinforce at least a part of the connector housing in a region around the at least one latching nose. The present disclosure further relates to a connector assembly for an electrical connector.

Connector housing and connector assembly for sealed ring terminal

An interface assembly includes an interface housing including a receiving portion arranged inside an interface cavity of the interface housing, for receiving an electrical contact element. The interface housing further includes at least two latches and an electrical contact element for transferring electrical power. The electrical contact element includes a busbar portion and a plug-in portion. The busbar portion includes at least two latching noses. Each of the at least two latching noses is assigned to one of the at least two latches to block a release movement of the assigned latching nose upon mating of the electrical contact element and the interface housing.

Electrical interface assembly

A rotatable interface assembly for an electrical connector, an electrical connector, a connector system, and a method for coupling the system is presented herein. The rotatable interface assembly includes a connector component, having an electrical contact for electrically connecting electrical elements via a corresponding counter connector. The rotatable interface assembly further includes a base part and a rotatable part. The base part at least partially houses the connector component and has a securing means for being secured to a fixed counterpart. The rotatable part being configured to receive the corresponding counter connector at least partially under a specific angular orientation. The rotatable part is arranged on the base part, so as to be rotatable around a rotational axis relative to the base part. The rotatable part can be rotated around the rotational axis in a desired angular orientation that matches an orientation of a corresponding counter connector, to allow to receive the corresponding counter connector under different angular orientations, relative to the base part.

Rotatable interface assembly for an electrical connector

An illustrative example embodiment of a network connector module for a network connector is adapted for network communication with data rates of at least up to 1 Gbit/s. The network connector module comprises a module housing of electrically insulating material wherein the module housing comprises at least two terminal receptacles that are arranged directly adjacent to each other, each of the terminal receptacles receives an electrical contact terminal. The network connector module comprises further an electrical shielding member made of cut and bent sheet metal, wherein the electrical shielding member at least partially surrounds the module housing. The electrical shielding member includes at least two contact elements for electrically contacting ground contacts of a corresponding counter connector. The contact elements are arranged lateral of the module housing, so as to be in a row with the electrical contact terminals. Further, the contact elements sandwich the electrical contact terminals.

Network connector module for a network connector

This disclosure generally pertains to connectors having a signal contact assembly containing a plurality of rod-shaped signal contact members, generally cylindrical dielectric material encasing the sides of the signal contact members and a generally cylindrical conductive shield in contact with the dielectric material. The signal contact assembly along with rod-shaped power contact members are placed in the connector. This combination can be considered to be in the nature of a connector within a connector. The connector can transmit data at 100 Mbps or greater along with power while minimizing the space required for the contacts. The connectors may be generally circular in cross-section.
