A device for adjusting the rotational angular position of a cam shaft relative to a crankshaft of a combustion engine includes a supply branch for supplying pressure fluid to setting chambers to generate torque acting on a rotor; and a pressure storage device arranged in the supply branch and including a spring and a storage chamber which can be filled with the pressure fluid against a spring force of the spring, wherein the storage chamber begins to fill, against the spring force, at a start-of-filling pressure which is at most as large as a hot idling pressure which the pressure fluid exhibits when the combustion engine is idling in its hot operational state, and continues to be filled against the spring force if the hot idling pressure is exceeded.

A device for adjusting the phase position of a cam shaft of an internal combustion engine and for supplying an assembly with a partial vacuum, said device comprising: a phase setter for adjusting the phase position of the cam shaft relative to a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine; a vacuum pump for the assembly; and an attachment housing for the vacuum pump, wherein the attachment housing is mounted on the internal combustion engine and forms a housing or at least a housing cover for the phase setter.

An external-rotor-driven lubricating pump comprising a lubricant guidance part including a suction port, an outer wall, a carrier section, a discharge port, a lubricant feed space disposed between the carrier section and the outer wall and connected with the suction port, with a lubricant delivery space disposed between the carrier section and the outer wall and connected with the discharge port, and a pump part including a drive gear, an internally-toothed external rotor, with an externally-toothed internal rotor having one tooth less than the number of teeth on the external rotor, the external rotor and the internal rotor upon meshing pumping the lubricant from the lubricant feed space into the lubricant delivery space, with a shaft supporting the drive gear in the carrier section, the drive gear being fixed to the external rotor, the drive gear forming together with the external rotor the outer closure of the lubricating pump at its pump part end, with the internal rotor being mounted loosely on a collar of the carrier section.

A supply pump for lubricant or heat transfer liquid of a conventional design is driven by a drive unit independently of the consumer of the lubricant or of the heat transfer liquid. In the event of the failure of the drive unit a forced connection occurs between the pump and the rotating parts of the consumer in order to ensure its supply with the lubricant or the heat transfer liquid at least for a sufficient emergency period. By the independent drive of the supply pump the supply to the consumer can be controlled according to the consumption of lubricant or heat transfer liquid independently of its individual operating characteristic or operating state.
