An apparatus is provided for closing or opening an opening, especially a bottom opening of a material hopper arranged above the mouth of a blast furnace having a drivable flap plate, which is movable into an open position leaving the opening clear and into a closed position blocking off the opening and vice-versa. The flap plate carries out, in the region of the opening, a linear movement substantially perpendicular to the plane of the opening and, distal to the opening, a pivoting movement.

A device for closing or opening an opening, in particular a filling or bottom opening () of a material bunker () arranged above the furnace throat of a blast furnace, including a tilting disk () connectable to a drive. The tilting disk () is articulated to two swivel arms () pivotably mounted about two swivel axes () extending parallel to each other, and to be more precise, in such a manner that the edge areas of the tilting disk () situated on a perpendicular to the swivel axes () of the two swivel arms (), upon a movement of these arms, move from the closed into the opened position, and vice versa, along oppositely directed arc paths ().

Device for opening or closing an opening, in particular a bottom opening of a material bunker for a blast furnace

A blast furnace head () including a material loading device comprising rotary chute () driven in rotation about a first, vertical axis of rotation (), and a loading chute () at the outlet of same, driven in rotation about a second, vertical axis of rotation () laterally offset relative to the first axis of rotation (). The gears () assigned to both of the chutes () are arranged within a sealing chamber (). Within this sealing chamber (), a means () is arranged for supplying integrated measuring devices (or), lubrication points or similar maintenance recipients, with these supply means () being drivable by one of the gears () assigned to the two chutes, in particular by the gear () assigned to the rotary chute ().

Feed device for a shaft furnace

A water cooled hot air slider plate with a cooling channel, through which a cooling medium flows. A seal extends over the perimeter of the plate, both sides of the plate with the exception of the seal are joining a seal adapted to adjoin a seal seat of a slider housing being covered with a heat-insulating material. The part of the slider plate limited by the seal is formed by a core plate which incorporates bores extending in the plane of the plate which bores are in fluid connection with one another to form a predetermined meandering cooling channel.

Butterfly flap valve (10) comprising a valve housing (12) with an axial flow aperture (14), a flap shaft (16) that projects out of the valve housing (12), crosses the flow aperture (14) substantially diametrically and can be operated by means of a drive mechanism disposed outside the valve housing (12), and a closure flap (22) attached to the flap shaft (16) to close the flow aperture. In this system, to move the closure flap (22) out of the closed position into the position in which the flow aperture (14) is open, the closure flap (22) is first lifted away from the valve seat (24) and then swiveled within the flow aperture (14) by way of the connection of the flap shaft (16) both to a lever system (28), consisting of a first lever element (44) and a second lever element (46), and to an actuator shaft (30) coupled to the drive mechanism. The same connections also operate for movement of the closure flap (22) out of the open position into the closed position, in which the closure flap (22) is first swiveled within the flow aperture (14) and subsequently set onto the valve seat (24).
