A metallurgical vessel for transporting molten metals with a metal jacket with a heat-resistant lining is disclosed. The jacket has two reinforcing rings extending in the peripheral direction and being secured to and integrated in the jacket. The vessel also has two one-part shield segments, each affixed to at least to one of two stiffening rings. The shield segments include arms that extend in both peripheral directions and are provided with a welding edge for welding to the stiffening rings. Two lifting lugs are disposed on the exterior of the vessel on opposing sides thereof and supported by the stiffening rings. A stiffening ring can be implemented as two 120&#xb0; segments connected at their ends to the two shield segments which each extend over 60&#xb0; along the periphery.

Metallurgical vessel and method for producing the same

The invention relates to a vessel for metallurgical purposes intended for transporting molten metals. The tank has a metal jacket provided with a heat-proof lining. Two lifting lugs are disposed on the outer side opposite one another, each of which is supported by a lug shield connected to the metal jacket. The lug shield is disposed so as to limit movement in vertical and peripheral direction. Alternatively, the vessel can be made of sections of pipe, with the lug shield connected to a reinforcement ring on the pipe sections. Means are fixed on the metal jacket and/or the reinforcement ring(s) for receiving the own weight of the lug shield and the vessel when the vessel is in a vertical or tilted position.

Vessel for metallurgical purposes

A metallurgic vessel, in particular a ladle for the transport of molten metals, with an upwardly open container which has a bottom receiving a refractory lining and a metal casing and is provided with a carrying framework which consists of carrying claws arranged on the outside of the metal casing and of at least one carrying ring running in the circumferential direction and two vessel carrying lugs which are located opposite one another and are supported on a plate connected to the carrying ring. In this case, the carrying framework has two carrying rings which are at a parallel distance from one another and, together with the plate and the vessel carrying lugs, form an independent unit which is at a distance from the outer surface of the metal casing and is arranged with play between the carrying claws.

A supporting roll framework for continuous metal, in particular steel, casting installations, which is divided into straight or curved segments with roll carriers, a plurality of rolls being assembled on one roll carrier. The frame element, as a carrying element, has at least two pipes, which lie parallel to and at a distance from one another, transversely with respect to the running direction of the strand, and between which a web plate is welded in. A holding plate, which is directed toward the strand, is attached to the respectively outer lateral surface of the outer pipes, between which holding plates the carrier which carries the rolls is welded in. The pipes, in the case of internally cooled rolls, function as the cooling medium supply and discharge and, for this purpose, are provided with a connection stub on the outer lateral surface.
