Planar transducer for microwaves from a micro-strip line to a slotted line, in which a microwave strip line junction in the form of a 'Y' is disposed on the upper side of a substrate, one of the strip line branches being short-circuited, the other one being open, and that a slotted line in the form of a Y, which is in the opposite direction of the first Y, is disposed at the bottom side of the substrate, one slotted line branch being open, the other being short-circuited, whereas the centers of the 'Y'-structures coincide exactly.

Micro-strip to a slotted line transducer

A microstrip waveguide transition where the substrate is arranged in a symmetry plane of waveguide and is situated parallel to the field lines of the electrical field and the longitudinal axis of the waveguide. The asymmetric microstrip conductor structure is coupled, via a symmetrical-asymmetrical transformer, to symmetric band line provided on the substrate. To be conductive for RF energy, the individual conductors of the band line are connected to opposite walls of the waveguide via broadening conductors.

Microwave device

Microwave device comprising a conductive box containing a substrate which is spaced from one wall of the box and on its surface facing the wall is provided with a microstrip line; at least one coaxial terminal leading through another wall of the box is connected to the microstrip line, and at least one mode suppressing member is arranged symmetrically with respect to the axis of the microstrip line.
