An especially harmonic transition between the wiper blade () and the wiper arm () is achieved in the area of the joint () connecting these two wiper lever parts if the wiper lever () is provided with a cap () to cover the connection area between the wiper blade () and the wiper arm ().

A device is proposed which is used to detachably connect a wiper blade () to clean windows, particularly of motor vehicles, to a driven wiper arm () featuring a wiper blade holder (or), whereby the wiper blade () that can be placed on the window () with a long-stretched-out, rubber elastic wiper strip () features a band-like, long-stretched-out elastic supporting element () that is curved in the longitudinal direction over its band surfaces () on whose lower, concave band surface () the wiper strip () is arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis. On the outer convex band surface () of the supporting element () sits a connecting element (), which features two parallel wall surfaces () mat are aligned in a vertical plane on the band surface and extend in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade and that a pivot pin () projects from each wall surface, whereby the longitudinal axes of the two pivot pins are aligned with one another. An especially simple embodiment of the articulated connection with an integrated connecting device is achieved if an adapter (or) that can move in a pendulum fashion is positioned on the two pivot pins of the connecting element (), and said adapter features means to connect to the wiper blade holder (or) of the wiper arm ().

The invention relates to a device for the detachable, articulated connection of a wiper blade () for cleaning windows, in particular of motor vehicles, to a wiper arm () driven on one end, which is provided with a first coupling half () on its other, particularly, its free end () and a connecting device () featuring a second wiper-blade-mounted coupling half (), which is arranged on the upper band side () of a band-like, long-stretched-out, elastic supporting element (), on whose other, lower band surface, () a rubber-elastic wiper strip () that can be placed on the window () is situated, and the wiper-blade-mounted coupling half () has a pivot pin () aligned transverse to the wiper blade's longitudinal extension and transverse to the placement direction (arrow) to connect to the wiper arm (), whose longitudinal axis forms the articulation axis () of the device and which is allocated to a pin rest receptacle () present on the wiper-arm-mounted coupling half (). A particularly reliable and enduring connection between the wiper-blade-mounted coupling half () and the supporting element () of the wiper blade () is achieved if the wiper-blade-mounted second coupling half () is embodied as a sheet metal bent part, on which the pivot pin () is formed, connected as a single part.

The invention relates to a device to connect a wiper arm () to a wiper blade () featuring a supporting element () holding a wiper strip () on which a base element () is fastened as the first part of a coupling device, whereby the wiper arm () is embodied to be U-shaped and overlaps the base element () with its U-shape and whereby holding means () are embodied on the wiper arm () within its U-shape, which holding means form a second part of a coupling device and cooperate with the first part of the coupling device. It is proposed that the holding means () be embodied as articulated means for holding the wiper blade () in an articulated manner, which can also transmit a bearing force () on the wiper blade () to be exerted by the wiper arm () on the wiper blade () in an operating position and which are at least approximately completely covered by the wiper arm ().

A simple and economical wiper system is obtained if the stop faces of the wiper blade are disposed on the two long sides of a coupling part () that is present on the wiper blade and has a bearing bore () for the pivot bolt (); that one securing face of the wiper arm is a cheek region () oriented toward the wiper blade; and that the other securing face () is embodied on an extension (), protruding from the bearing bore (), of the pivot bolt (), which extension engages the stop face (), facing away from the wiper arm, of the wiper blade () from behind.
