Compositions are provided that include ethoxylated lecithin for use as an adjuvant in aqueous composition. Specifically, the compositions may be utilized primarily as drift reduction agents in agricultural compositions, as a soil or foliage penetrant, as a pesticide adjuvant, as a pesticide formulation component, and for other uses. More specifically, the compositions are useful in reducing drift in spray compositions, such as in use in agricultural applications, such as pesticide, herbicide, fungicide and insecticide formulations, in industrial vegetation management ('IVM') and integrated pest management (“IPM”) applications, in rights-of-way applications, in forestry applications, and other like applications.

Compositions comprising ethoxylated lecithin and methods of making and using the same

Compositions are provided that include ethoxylated lecithin for use as an adjuvant in aqueous composition. Specifically, the compositions may be utilized primarily as drift reduction agents in agricultural compositions, as a soil or foliage penetrant, as a pesticide adjuvant, as a pesticide formulation component, and for other uses. More specifically, the compositions are useful in reducing drift in spray compositions, such as in use in agricultural applications, such as pesticide, herbicide, fungicide and insecticide formulations, in industrial vegetation management ('IVM') and integrated pest management ('IPM') applications, in rights-of-way applications, in forestry applications, and other like applications.

A water-in-oil microemulsion, including a polyacrylamide, a fatty acid, a surfactant, an oil continuous phase, and an aqueous discontinuous phase in the oil continuous phase. The fatty acid includes a tall oil fatty acid, oleic acid, or a combination of a tall oil fatty acid and oleic acid. The water-in-oil microemulsion contains 6 to 48 parts by weight of the polyacrylamide, 30 to 62 parts by weight of the fatty acid, and 20 to 44 parts by weight of the surfactant per 100 parts by weight of the polyacrylamide, the fatty acid, and the surfactant combined.

Water-in-oil polyacrylamide-based microemulsions and related methods

A polyacrylamide based agricultural composition as a microemulsion is provided in form of a water-in-oil microemulsion with polyacrylamide dissolved in the water phase where the polyacrylamide solids content is from about two up to about 15 percent by weight, which is then further diluted in water at the time of use to impart the desired characteristics of the polymer to the water phase or to the material to which the water phase is applied.

Polyacrylamide based agricultural compositions

A polyacrylamide-based composition as a microemulsion is provided in the form of a water-in-oil microemulsion with polyacrylamide dissolved in the water phase, and further comprising ethylene oxide-propylene oxide block copolymer. Specifically, the present invention includes, dissolved in the water phase, a polyacrylamide copolymer and an EO/PO block copolymer, with the water phase mixed with an oil phase. Preferably, the present invention may further comprise the presence of at least one fatty acid and/or at least one nonionic surfactant to stabilize the microemulsion. In addition, the present invention may further comprise effective amount of other components, such as pesticides and/or fertilizers, that may be delivered to trees, plants or other vegetation.

Emulsion compositions comprising polyacrylamide copolymer and ethylene oxide&#x2014;propylene oxide copolymer

The present invention is directed to a combination adjuvant comprising an ammonium sulfate fertilizer impregnated with a drift reducing agent. The drift reducing agent is preferably polyacrylamide. Anti-caking and drying agents are preferably added to the combination adjuvant to provide ease of use and prevent caking and agglomeration of the adjuvant. The combination adjuvant is formed by mixing a liquid drift reducing agent with dry ammonium sulfate granules. Any additional agents are added and mixed with the drift reducing agent and ammonium sulfate. Because each granule comprises approximately the same amount of drift reducing agent, the composition of the combination adjuvant is uniform, even after storage and transport.

An aqueous herbicidal composition is provided which is useful for controlling woody plants when applied to bark in basal and dormant stem regions of such plants. The composition is an aqueous solution or dispersion of a water-soluble herbicide such as a salt of glyphosate and a surfactant composition, which comprises one or more polyoxyalkylene trisiloxane surfactant(s) and one or more glycols or glycol ethers. Also provided is a method for controlling woody plants comprising applying to bark in basal or dormant stem regions of such plants an aqueous herbicidal composition of the invention.
