In a method for additive manufacturing of a workpiece, a data set defines the workpiece in multiple layers. A first energy beam is moved relative to a manufacturing platform along first trajectories to produce, in temporally successive steps, a stack of workpiece layers. Individual properties of the stack are determined using a measurement arrangement having an exciter that excites the stack with a second energy beam, and having a detector that detects properties of the stack resulting from an excitation along a defined detection path in a spatially resolved manner. At least one of the second energy beam and the detection path is moved relative to the manufacturing platform along further trajectories using a further scanning unit. The first scanning unit and the further scanning unit establish completely separate beam paths for the first energy beam and the at least one of the second energy beam and the detection path.

Method and apparatus for additive manufacturing of a workpiece

An apparatus for carrying out an eye-related measurement on a person includes a device for generating a fixation target with a holographic element. To generate the fixation target, the holographic element is illuminated by a light source. As a result of the illumination, the fixation target arises as a virtual holographic object. The eye-related measurement is conducted on an eye or the eyes of the person fixating the fixation target. Information is conveyed to the person by switching between different fixation targets.

Apparatuses and methods for carrying out eye-related measurements

A method for calibrating an optical arrangement for determining dimensional properties of a measurement object and a coordinate measuring machine implementing the method are disclosed. The optical arrangement has a camera and a projector for projecting a first periodic pattern onto a projection area. The optical arrangement is moveable relative to a workpiece table along a first axis. A matte surface is arranged on the workpiece table at a first position relative to the optical arrangement. A second periodic pattern, which is separate from the first periodic pattern, is provided and shifted on the matte surface. Images of the second pattern are recorded using the camera and at least one distortion aberration of the camera is determined using the second periodic pattern. The first periodic pattern is projected onto the matte surface and first and second coordinates of at least one pattern point of the projected first periodic pattern are determined, the second coordinate with respect to a second axis, which is perpendicular to the first axis. The matte surface is displaced relative to the optical arrangement to a second position along the first axis and the aforementioned steps are repeated for a plurality of relative positions of the matte surface along the first axis.

Method for calibrating an optical arrangement

Coordinate measuring machine, comprising an optical sensor for capturing image data of a workpiece. The optical sensor comprises a lens, which defines an optical axis, and an illumination device for illuminating the workpiece. The illumination device comprises a diffusely radiating luminous body and an optical filter having a plurality of separate light passages. Light emitted by the luminous body enters the filter on an underside thereof, passes through the light passages and emerges again from the filter on an opposite top side thereof. Each of the light passages transmits only light rays that form an angle smaller than a predefined limiting angle with a longitudinal axis of the respective light passage. The lens and the filter are inclined relative to one another in such a way that a normal vector aligned perpendicularly to the top side of the filter forms an inclination angle other than&#xb0; with the optical axis.

Deflecting surfaces can be formed as a switchable layer which can be switched into a first and a second state, wherein the reflectivity of the switchable layers in the first state is higher than in the second state.

A spectacle lens for a display device can be fitted on the head of a user and generate an image. The front side and/or the rear side can be curved. A light guiding channel can guide-light bundles of pixels of the generated image, which are coupled into the spectacle lens via the coupling-in section and coupled out of the spectacle lens via the coupling-out section. The light guiding channel includes a first reflecting surface and a second reflecting surface spaced apart from the first reflecting surface, each of which extend in a direction from the coupling-in section to the coupling-out section. At least one of the two reflecting surfaces can be formed as a switchable layer which can be switched into a first and a second state. The reflectivity of the switchable layer in the first state is higher than in the second state.

A spectacle lens for a display device may include a front side, a rear side, a coupling-in section and a coupling-out section. The coupling-out section includes at least two reflective deflecting surfaces arranged next to each other. The spectacle lens guides light bundles of pixels of the generated image to the coupling-out section in the spectacle lens and couples them out of the spectacle lens through the rear side. The spectacle lens includes a main part with the front and rear side, in which a recess extending from the rear side or from the front side to the surface structure is present, into which an insert element is inserted, the first end of which facing the surface structure is formed complementary to the surface structure, wherein the reflective deflecting surfaces lie between the surface structure of the main part and the first end of the insert element.

Spectacle lens for a display device that can be fitted on the head of a user and generates an image

A method and a measuring machine for determining dimensional properties of a measurement object each use a workpiece table and a camera having an image sensor and an imaging optics. The imaging optics exhibits aberrations and is configured to be focused on a plurality of different working positions relative to the workpiece table. The aberrations are minimized by using first calibration values provided for a defined working position. A first working distance of the camera relative to a region of interest is determined. Subsequently, the imaging optics is focused, using the first working distance and using second calibration values that represent an image field curvature of the camera, such that the region of interest is substantially brought into a defined working position. Subsequently, the image recording and image evaluation take place to determine measurement values that represent the dimensional properties of the measurement object in the region of interest.
