Methods of manufacturing a medical component include additively manufacturing a medical component at least in part by successive, layer-by-layer, selective exposure and associated successive, layer-by-layer, selective solidification of construction material layers made of a construction material solidifiable with an energy beam. The medical component is insertable at least partially into a body of a living being, and the medical component includes a channel structure that has a tubular channel through which a medium and/or at least one functional element can be passed.

Method for producing a medical instrument

A drive arrangement for an endoscopic shaft instrument, preferably an instrument which is intended for use in connection with a surgical robot, has a drive arrangement that has an instrument housing () on a proximal shaft end. At least one housing shaft () is mounted in the instrument housing (). The shaft is drivingly connected to a traction device which is provided for controlling an instrument head on a distal shaft end. Furthermore, the drive arrangement has a drive unit having at least one drive shaft. The housing shaft () can be drivingly connected to said drive shaft. The at least one housing shaft () is oriented at an angle to the drive shaft () and the drive shaft can be drivingly connected thereto.

Drive arrangement for an endoscopic shaft-type instrument

An endoscopic shank instrument has a tool carrier which is arranged at a distal shank end, is bendable relative to the shank and carries a tool. The tool includes at least one electrode which is conductively connectable to a voltage source via an electrical lead led through the shank. The lead is formed by a flexible circuit board in the region of the tool carrier and of the bending of the tool carrier.

Endoscopic shank instrument

An endoscopic instrument includes a shank which is bendable in at least one section and an endoscope head forming the distal end of the shank and in which the distal-side interfaces of the instrument are arranged. The endoscope head is bendable and is designed as one piece from an electroactive polymer. Electrodes are arranged in the endoscope head in the polymer, which may be subjected to electrical voltage.
