A foot operated mouse for use on a surface comprises a housing including a heel portion, a toe portion, a pivot member, and a sensor mechanism. The pivot member is configured and arranged to contact the surface and allow the housing to pivot between an operating position and a nonoperating position. The operating position is when the sensor mechanism is proximate the surface, and the nonoperating position is when the sensor mechanism is pivoted upward away from the surface.

A window operator moves a sash between an open and closed position. The window operator includes a track member and a sliding member. A gear member has a second end adapted and configured to be operatively connected to the window sash and a first end has a plurality of radially spaced gear members. A rack member is positioned proximate the track and is positioned to engage the gear teeth. One of the gear members and rack member is operatively connected to the sliding member. The other is positioned proximate the track and has no longitudinal movement relative to the track. A drive member is connected to the sliding member, wherein actuation of the drive member moves the sliding member longitudinally and causes the gear teeth to engage the track, thereby resulting in rotational movement of a gear member to move the sash between an open and closed position.

A lead screw window operator () utilizes a lead screw () that is in tension whether the operator is being used to open or close a window assembly (). The lead screw window operator () may include a nut () that has edges sufficiently close to first and second support surfaces to prevent excess rotation of the nut (). Also, the lead screw () may have a splined end to operatively connect to a first gear that has a splined profile to allow the gear to slide along the lead screw along a longitudinal axis.

A height adjustment device for a hinge having one hinge leaf that can be snapped into or inserted into a receiving part mounted on a door leaf or on a door frame, and with a height adjustment mechanism in the receiving part which has abutment against an edge of the hinge leaf. The height adjustment mechanism has a slide that is limitedly movable in the receiving part, and a rotatable height adjustment member. The slide has a portion for abutment against an edge of the hinge leaf. The height adjustment member has a plurality of radially directed, angularly separated arms of different lengths, wherein an end portion of such an arm is adapted to engage with an adapted engaging portion of the slide.

A structure for joining structural members is disclosed. The structure joins an end of a first member to a side of a second member by a coupling insert. The coupling insert has a web coupling portion that is received by the end of the first member and a tenon portion that is received by a transverse opening in the side of the second member. The web coupling portion and the tenon portion are connected by a base plate.

An ankle brace utilizes first and second strap segments. The strap segments are positioned proximate the bottom portion of the brace and extends up and across the front portion of the brace before being secured about the brace.

Ankle support

An ankle support utilizes a strap having a first end and a second end. The first end forms a loop adapted to go around a user's foot and the second end is adapted to go around the user, proximate the user's ankle. A loop member is operatively connected to the first end and the second end passes through the loop member, whereby pulling on the second end tightens both the first end and the second end. In other embodiments, the ankle support may utilize a body being operatively connected thereto. In other embodiments, the ankle support is operatively connected to a shoe.

Ankle brace

An improved single actuation casement and awning window securing mechanism comprising two cams and a linking arm held in tension upon closing. The cams operate in unison in a clamshell fashion, such that closing and opening of the single actuation sash lock is accomplished in an easy and secure manner.
