An electropneumatic positioner for a pneumatic actuator to operate a control device of a processing plant can include two modular pneumatic slots and a pneumatic control output. The two modular pneumatic slots can engage with a respective modular pneumatic component. The two pneumatic slots and the pneumatic components can be modularly matched to one another such that their respective pneumatic interfaces merge into one another when a pneumatic slot is engaged. The pneumatic control output can output a pneumatic control pressure signal to the pneumatic actuator. The two modular pneumatic slots and the pneumatic control output can form a pneumatic series connection.

Electropneumatic positioner and a field device having an electro-pneumatic positioner

A pneumatic volume booster to amplify a control pressure output signal can include a pneumatic control outlet for attachment to a pneumatic working chamber of the pneumatic actuator; a pneumatic aeration inlet configured to receive the pneumatic control pressure signal from the position controller, a pneumatic amplification inlet configured to receive a constant pneumatic air amplification signal, a pneumatic de-aeration connection from the control outlet to a pressure sink configured to aerate the control actuator, a deaerator seat-valve separating and/or opening the pneumatic de-aeration connection, a pneumatic aeration connection between the first aeration inlet and the control outlet; an aerator seat-valve separating and/or opening the pneumatic aeration connection, a pneumatic amplification connection between the amplification inlet and the control outlet; an amplification seat-valve separating and/or opening the pneumatic amplification connection; and a mechanical seat-valve-operator for commonly operating the de-aeration seat-valve, the first aerator seat-valve and the amplification seat-valve.

The invention relates to a coupling () which comprises a first component () and a second component () as well as a spring-loaded entrainer () which is spring-loaded and mounted on said first component (), which second component () is furthermore rotatably mounted relative to said first component () and can be made to rotate in a first direction of rotation&#x2014;the freewheeling direction (F)&#x2014;and in a second direction of rotation&#x2014;the blocking direction (S)&#x2014;opposite to said first direction of rotation, which second component () furthermore comprises a guide means () which is designed so as to prevent a spring-loaded entrainer () from engaging said guide means () during rotation of said second component () in the freewheeling direction (F).

Coupling for a positioner

A differential pressure measuring device () comprising a housing () having two pressure areas () which are sealed relative to each other and are separated from each other by a membrane (). The membrane () comprises a pressure plate () surrounded by an elastic circumferential area () allowing axial movement of the pressure plate (). An indicator element () is permanently connected to the pressure plate () and whose position can be evaluated in a non-contact manner by a sensor (). At least one pair of springs () is provided, with one spring () each of said pair of springs being located in an allocated pressure area (). Each spring () of said pair of springs () exerts an opposing spring force on the pressure plate ().

Differential pressure sensor

In a electropneumatic field device, an electrical field input and a pneumatic supply input are provided. At least one field output is provided at which a field output signal is output based on a field control signal received via the electrical field input. A group comprising at least two modular components of different functionality is provided and at least one modular slot for occupation with either of said modular components from said group. The at least two modular components of the group and the at least one slot are modularly adapted to one another such that interfaces of the slot and interfaces of either of said modular components in the seat merge into one another when the slot is occupied with either of said modular components so that the modular component which is in the slot is connected to the electrical field input and to the at least one field output.

In a method or device for operating a pneumatic drive system for actuating a control valve, a pneumatic working chamber is loaded with pneumatic pressure in order to move the control valve into a desired position. At least two pneumatic control signals are supplied to the working chamber by means of electropneumatic conversion.

In an actuating drive or method for capturing a position of a final control element to be positioned by a drive member of the actuating drive, the final control element is pushed from an initial position to a target position by a spring body acting on the drive member. A first reference position is spatially configured in a vicinity of or at the spring body. A second reference position moving relative to the first reference position during positioning movement of the drive member is spatially configured adjacent a first outer surface of the spring body. A distance between the first reference position and the second reference position is captured.
