The invention relates to a mixing device for mixing a fluid in a container, in particular of a fluid system, comprising a fluid supply and at least one outlet arm with an outlet opening, the fluid supply being connected to the at least one outlet arm in a fluid-communicating fashion. According to the invention, the outlet opening, for an outlet of the fluid, is oriented towards an outlet direction in order to set the fluid in the container rotating at least in sections thereof.

A system for measuring the viscosity of printing ink during a printing and ink correction process includes a printing press having an ink supply system, and an optical measuring device for measuring actual optical values of light that has interacted with at least parts of the printing picture. The printing press has an ink mass determination device to determine the weight of at least parts of the ink located in the ink supply system, and a control and evaluation device to receive measured values from the optical measuring device and from the ink mass determination device. The control and evaluation device determines an optical deviation, and, based on the optical deviation and the values from the weighing devices, an amount of corrective ink that is to be fed to the printing press in order to approximate the actual optical values to optical reference values.

Language and method for measuring the viscosity of printing ink during the printing and ink correction process

A method of operating a printing press includes transferring ink from an inlet point to a printing substrate, and measuring actual optical values of light, in which the actual optical values are from light of selected wavelength ranges and in which the light has interacted with at least parts of the printed image. The method includes providing a control and evaluation device with measured values from an optical measuring device and with measured values from an ink mass determination device so as to determine an optical deviation of actual optical values from optical reference values, and determining an amount of corrective ink that is to be fed to the printing press in order to approximate the actual optical values to the optical reference values.

A process for replacing the printing sleeves of a printing machine includes mounting printing sleeves that are not required for the printing process in at least one storage device. The transportation of the printing sleeves necessary for replacement between the storage device and the printing machine is performed by a transportation device. The transportation device has printing sleeve retaining devices that bring the printing sleeves into a position that facilitates their replacement. The arrangement of the printing sleeves in the transportation device is determined by a processing and control unit to which set positions of the printing sleeves during the next printing job are known. The processing and control unit adjusts the arrangement of the printing sleeves such that at least one printing sleeve retaining device remains free in the transportation device.
