A drive unit for a floor trolley, with at least one steered wheel (), which is attached to a vehicle chassis () so that it can swivel about an essentially vertical swivel axis (), a drive motor () with a drive shaft () being arranged coaxially with the swivel axis (). The motor is in driving connection with the at least one wheel () via a gear system (). The drive motor () and the gear system () are mounted in a common housing (), consisting essentially of two separate housing portions, namely, a lower and an upper housing (portion), that can be joined together by a fastening mechanism (), and is mounted to rotate on the chassis () via at least one roller bearing (). A drive unit is provided that at least one of the two housing portions () is associated with a drawbar connection () formed integrally therewith by way of the housing () being swiveled relative to the chassis () about the swivel axis ().

An axial securing system for the wheel bearing of a pole-guided vehicle is described, in which the wheel bearing is positioned in line with the pole pivot point () and centrally with respect to the wheel area, the system comprising at least two clip-rings () seated in grooves (), and the parts of the housing () that form a gap () over the clip-rings () are extended in the direction of the clip-rings () so that the gap () above the clip-rings () is smaller than the grooves () in which the clip-rings () are seated.

Axial lock for the wheel bearing of pole vehicles

A wheel hub drive for a running wheel () is described. The drive having a transmission (), a motor () and a brake (), such that the enveloping circle () of the wheel hub drive is determined by the running wheel and the transmission (), motor () and brake are located within a circle whose radius is determined by the running wheel ().
