Work base and system

The invention relates to a kitchen appliance, in particular a mixer, comprising a housing (), on which a vessel () can be arranged, wherein the housing () has a vessel receiving area (), to which the vessel () can be connected, wherein the vessel () and the vessel receiving area () have electric contacts () for connecting an electric device of the vessel (), in particular a heating device and/or a measuring device, to a power supply of the kitchen appliance. To create an alternative and more comfortable option for positioning the electric contacts, it is proposed for the kitchen appliance and/or the vessel () to have a positioning device (), which is embodied to position the electric contacts () of the vessel () and the electric contacts () of the vessel receiving area () relative to one another in an active manner, so that they can be transferred from a separated position into a contact position, so as to establish an electric connection between the vessel () and the kitchen appliance, wherein the contacts () of the vessel () are movably arranged on the vessel () and/or the contacts () of the vessel receiving area () are movably arranged on the vessel receiving area ().

Kitchen appliance comprising positioning device

An electrically operated kitchen appliance with a cooking vessel and a lid for the cooking vessel, wherein: the lid can be locked in the closed position against the cooking vessel; the cooking vessel has a cooking vessel base and a cooking vessel wall extending upwards from the base; the cooking vessel wall transitions into a radially projecting cooking vessel edge; the lid has a lid edge, which covers the cooking vessel edge in the closed position; and the lock is formed by a locking part acting on the lid. In order to further improve a kitchen appliance of the type mentioned, particularly with respect to handling the lid of the cooking vessel, according to the invention a hinged section, which can be operated by an electric motor, is provided to interact with the lid edge, such that the lid can be pivoted by the motor out of a closed position into an open position and the lid can be removed from the hinged section by the user non-destructively.

Electrically operated kitchen appliance

The invention relates to a kitchen appliance (), in particular a mixer having a base device () and a vessel (), which can be arranged thereon, wherein the kitchen appliance () has a positioning device () for positioning a first partial area () of the kitchen appliance () relative to a second partial area () of the kitchen appliance (). For an advantageous monitoring of a positioning, it is proposed for an optical measuring device comprising a light emitter () and a light receiver () to be assigned to the positioning device (), which are arranged on the first partial area () and/or on the second partial area () in such a manner that the light intensity measured by the light receiver () varies as a function of the positioning of the first partial area () relative to the second partial area ().

Kitchen machine

A food processor having a standing surface at the bottom, a rear side and a front side, wherein the front side, starting from the highest location of the food processor, is formed obliquely and contains a holder for a cooking vessel. Freely projecting rod parts are formed in an upper region of the food processor, wherein the front ends of the rod parts are arranged on the same horizontal plane and are set back. To improve handling further, it is proposed that the set-back amount should correspond to 25% to 50% of the largest extent of the food processor as seen in the depthwise direction in the standing-surface region of the food processor. The amount also corresponds to approximately half the horizontal distance between the longitudinal centre axes of the rod parts. The contour of the front side is always rounded in the region of the rod parts.
