A device for acoustic detection of an electric arc, including a tubular probe suitable for being arranged next to a piece of electrical equipment on which an electric arc is likely to form. An interior space, circumscribed by a wall of the probe, extends along the length of the probe. This interior space is filled with a fluid and acoustically isolated from external noise by the wall. The probe includes, at the periphery of its interior space, on its wall, at least one vulnerable zone suitable for degrading under the effect of the electric arc, revealing a passage to the interior space for an acoustic wave generated by the electric arc. The device further includes at least one acoustic sensor suitable for detecting the acoustic wave that travelled through the passage and propagated in the interior space of the probe.

A surface liner member includes an external wall which is provided with multiple holes, a spacer structure, and tubes which are respectively associated with the holes in the external wall. The surface liner member is intended to be applied to a base surface in order to reduce, by acoustic absorption, an acoustic wave reflected on this base surface. The acoustic absorption efficiency is improved, particularly for frequencies below 500 Hz, by varying the shape of the holes in the external wall such that the ratio of the hole perimeter to the hole area varies. Such a surface liner member may be adapted to form a surface portion of an aircraft engine nacelle, or of a leading edge of an aircraft wing.

A soundproof panel has a sandwich structure, which includes two outer walls, a core, and modifying elements that are maintained in a fractal distribution by the core. The panel has an improved trade-off between sound attenuation efficiency and the weight of the panel.
