A lighting apparatus, in particular a reading lamp, is provided. The apparatus can be recessed in a trim of a passenger cab of a vehicle, which can be a land vehicle, an aircraft, or a watercraft. The apparatus has a first light-emitting device that is pivotably mounted to a recess-mounting frame, so that a light-emitting direction of the first light-emitting device with respect to the recess-mounting frame is changeable. To simplify the design of the apparatus, a second light-emitting device is mounted to a visible side of the recess-mounting frame. The invention relates to a method for generating light with a desired light color by using at least one light-emitting diode emitting red r-LED, at least one light-emitting diode emitting green g-LED, at least one light-emitting diode emitting blue b-LED and at least one light-emitting diode emitting white w-LED. In order to improve the CRI value, according to the invention it is proposed that weighting values ascertained according to the RGB algorithm and further weighting values ascertained according to the RGBW algorithm be combined together by using a correction factor.

An improved illumination apparatus for the dazzle-free illumination of a region monitored by a night vision instrument is provided. The illumination apparatus has an illumination device, which has at least one light-emitting diode chip and a luminous means. The light-emitting diode chip is formed to emit electromagnetic radiation of a first wavelength range. The luminous means is formed to convert the radiation of the first wavelength range into light with light in a second wavelength range. The second wavelength range is shorter than 610 nm.

Illumination apparatus for dazzle-free illumination, method, use and arrangement comprising the illumination apparatus

The description covers cabin components for aircraft, which can be produced with a sandwich structure and may have the componentsfor signal and/or power transmission. The cabin components in this case have at least two prepreg layersand, for example, a honeycomb layer, which can be connected to one another by pressing and heating. Furthermore, electrical and/or optical signal paths are shown on cabin components, which can be produced by positioning them there or printing.
