The alignment guide system includes a targeting guide with a first end and a second end, an alignment wire rotatably engaging a second end of the targeting guide, and a guide sleeve insert engaging an opening in the first end of the targeting guide. The fixation guide device including a frame including a first end and a second end, a compression device slidingly coupled to the first end of the frame, and the intramedullary nail secured to a nail attachment apparatus of the frame. A method of inserting an intramedullary nail into two bones for fixation of the two bones is also disclosed.

Fixation guide devices and methods for positioning and inserting an intramedullary nail are disclosed. The fixation guide devices include a frame with a first end and a second end, a compression device removably coupled to the first end of the frame, and the intramedullary nail secured to a nail attachment apparatus of the frame. An intramedullary nail including a body with a fastening end, a closed end, and at least two openings is also disclosed. A compression device includes a compression member, a knob, and a bolt secured in the knob and rotatably engaging the compression member is also disclosed. An alignment guide is disclosed and includes a base member, an alignment member, and a fixation guide. A method of inserting an intramedullary nail into two bones for fixation of the two bones is also disclosed.

When operably positioned, the convex articulation surface engages the concave articulation surface to provide for movement therebetween. An implant system, alignment guide, bone fusion system and surgical method for correction of a flat foot or rocker-bottom deformity, such as a Charcot foot. The implant system includes a bone implant and an elongate member. The bone implant includes a proximal end, a distal end, a hole along a longitudinal axis, and at least one opening intersecting the hole. The elongate member includes a first end with a head portion, a second end with a coupling mechanism, and an opening along a longitudinal axis. The coupling mechanism of the elongate member engages the at least one opening to couple the bone implant to the elongate member.
