A frying apparatus includes a basin for holding a volume of oil, the basin including a plurality of catches on opposed internal sidewalls of the basin, and a basket dimensioned to be received in the basin and including a pair of handles and at least one catch member. The catch member is movable between a safety position in which the catch member is biased away from the basket and towards the sidewalls, and a clearance position in which the catch member is urged inwards towards the basket. When the catch member is in the safety position, the catch member is configured to engage one of the catches on the internal sidewalls of the basin.

Frying apparatus and method

A frying apparatus includes a container for holding a volume of oil, a basket dimensioned to be received in the container, a spit rod supported by said basket, and a motor having an output shaft configured for engagement with said spit rod for rotating said spit rod in relation to said basket.

There is provided an immersion blender essentially having a housing or body portion for containing a drive motor, a shank or drive shaft operatively connected to the drive motor, and a processing tool operatively connected to the drive shaft. The immersion blender also has one or more handle portions, including, a first handle for pivotal control of the blender during operative use, a second handle for lateral control of the blender during operative use, and a third handle for stabilization of the blender during operative use. These handles effectuate a more effective and efficient operation of the immersion blender.

There is provided an hand held blender essentially having at least two housing or body portions, a first housing or body portion suitable for containing a drive motor and a second housing or body portion suitable for containing one or more shanks or shafts operatively connected to the drive motor, and a processing tool operatively connected to the one or more shafts. Each of first and second portions has at least one connector suitable to rotatably connect and/or disconnect the at least two portions, as desired, in a reliable and stable manner.

A stylus for use with a digitizer tablet has a tip element that includes a front portion with a tip for engaging the surface of the tablet, and a back portion of the tip element within the stylus housing. The back portion of the tip element is adapted to apply pressure to a pressure sensitive resistance element. The front and back portions of the tip element are coupled together by a spring, in order that the tip element be resiliently compressible in the axial direction of the stylus.
