An alkoxylated polyamidoamine obtainable by a) reacting a polycarboxylic compound having a total number TN of carboxylic groups of 3 to 10 with a primary diamine of formula I HN—Z—NHwherein Z represents a bond or an organic group with 1 to 20 carbon atoms in a ratio of 0.3 TN to TN mols of the diamine per 1 mol of the polycarboxylic compound and b) alkoxylating the product obtained in a) with at least 0.5 mol of alkyleneoxide per 1 mol of primary amino groups.

The present invention relates to a dispersant composition comprising: a) at least one oligomeric acid A, which has i) at least one acidic group selected from COOH and POH, and ii) at least one polyoxyalkylene-ether radical of the formula (I): R&#x2014;(O-A)O-G-, where A is an C-C-alkan-1,2-diyl radical; X is an integer having a number average value in the range from 2 to 20; and R is hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 30 carbon atoms; G is a chemical bond or a carbonyl group; and b) at least one polyamine B, which is selected from the group consisting of polyvinylamines, poly-C-C-alkyleneimines, modified poly-C-C-alkyleneimines, melamine compounds, modified melamine compounds, poly-(C-C-alkyleneether) amines, polyetheramine polyols, and modified polyetheramine polyols. The present invention relates to novel mono- or polynuclear melamine compounds and their use as dispersants for pigments and fillers in coating compositions, in particular in solvent-borne coating compositions. The mono- or polynuclear melamine compounds of the invention have at least one 2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazine ring, wherein at least one amino groups of at least one of the 2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazine rings of the mono- or polynuclear melamine compounds is of the formula A:NRR(A) where Ris H, CH(R)ORor R, Ris CH(R)O(A-O)&#x2014;R, where Ris H, C-C-alkyl or aryl; Ris H, C-C-alkyl or C-C-alkoxy-C-C-alkyl; Ris a hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 40 carbon atoms; x is an integer from 2 to 500, having on average a value in the range from 2.5 to 400; A is an C-C-alkan-1,2-diyl radical.

Melamine-polyethers as dispersants in non-aqueous, liquid pigment compositions

The invention relates to the use of a non-aqueous composition comprising an organic solvent and at least one particular siloxane-type additive for treating substrates comprising patterns having line-space dimensions of 50 nm or below and aspect ratios of 4 or more as well as a method for manufacturing integrated circuit devices, optical devices, micromachines and mechanical precision devices, the said method comprising the steps of (1) providing a substrate having patterned material layers having line-space dimensions of 50 nm, aspect ratios of greater or equal 4, or a combination thereof, (2) contacting the substrate at least once with a non-aqueous composition, and (3) removing the non-aqueous composition from the contact with the substrate, wherein the non-aqueous composition comprising an organic solvent and at least one of such siloxane-type additives.

The presently claimed invention relates to novel monomers which can be used for preparing polymers which are useful as dispersants for pigments and fillers, as wetting agent and as thickening agents in liquid compositions.

The present invention relates to aqueous polymer-silicon oil hybrid compositions in the form of aqueous dispersions of finely divided polymer-silicon oil hybrid particles which comprise at least one water-insoluble polymer P made of ethylenically unsaturated monomers M, at least one surface-active substance and at least non-polymerizable, non-polar silicon oil. The present invention relates in particular to the use of these compositions as additives in aqueous coating and printing ink compositions.

The present invention relates to random copolymers obtainable by polymerization, the use of said random copolymers as soil release agents in laundry processes. The present invention is directed to a process for preparing hyperbranched phosphoric acid esters as well as a hyper-branched phosphoric acid ester, its use for dispersing solid substances and in the production of water- and/or solvent-based coatings and paints, printing inks and/or plastics such as unsaturated polyesters, PVC or plastisols and a pigment dispersion comprising the at least one hyperbranched phosphoric acid ester or salt thereof and its use as a component in paints or lacquers.
