The present application relates to a method for adjusting a measuring device for measuring a measurand of a medium using at least one measuring sensor, including: laboratory calibration of the measuring device in a calibration solution, laboratory calibration of the measuring device in air, determination of a correction factor for correcting the laboratory calibration value of the measuring device in air to the laboratory calibration value of the measuring device in the calibration solution, on-site calibration of the measuring device in air, using the correction factor to correct the on-site calibration value of the measuring device in air, and on-site adjustment of the measuring device using the corrected on-site calibration value.

Method for adjusting a measuring device

The invention relates to an optical system for measuring the absorption of light in a medium, comprising at least one light source for sending light and at least one optical detector, which receives the light and converts it into an electrical signal. The system is characterized in that the system comprises at least one light guide, wherein, in the region of the light source, light is coupled as reference light into the light guide, wherein the light guide is guided, at least in sections, past the medium, and wherein the light guide guides the reference light onto the detector.

Optical system

The disclosure includes an apparatus for determining a measured value in a liquid medium, comprising at least a light transmitter, at least one light receiver assigned to the transmitter, a measuring chamber that can be filled with the medium, wherein an optical path runs through the measuring chamber from the transmitter to the receiver. The apparatus includes a dosing apparatus for dosing at least one reagent and/or the medium, and for inserting the dosed reagent and/or the medium into the measuring chamber. The dosing apparatus is designed as a tube, and the tube includes at least a first control point, wherein the volume in the tube from a starting point to a first control point defines the amount of reagent or medium to be inserted into the measuring chamber. The disclosure further includes the use of the apparatus and a method for dosing the reagent.

The present disclosure relates to a device for dispensing a liquid, including a vertically arranged, translucent pipe for guiding the liquid, wherein the pipe has an upper section and a lower section, wherein an inner diameter of the upper section is greater than an inner diameter of the lower section, at least two light barriers for detecting a rise in the liquid over two defined levels in the pipe, wherein a first light barrier detects a rise in the liquid in the upper section of the pipe, and wherein a second light barrier detects a rise in the liquid in the lower section of the pipe.
