A suspension mount assembly for coupling a first component and a second component of a vehicle comprises a housing including a bore and a first shoulder. The housing is adapted to be coupled to the first component of the vehicle. An elastomeric bushing includes a bore adapted to receive the second component of a vehicle. The elastomeric bushing includes a first portion, a spaced apart ring portion, and a web portion interconnecting the ring portion of the first portion. The ring portion, the web portion and the first portion are integrally formed with one another. A cap includes a peripheral portion having a second shoulder. The elastomeric bushing is positioned within the housing bore with the ring portion being engaged with the first shoulder. The first shoulder cooperates with the second shoulder to trap the ring portion between the housing and the cap and provide a seal and vibration isolator therebetween.

A V-configuration torque rod includes an apex joint assembly which includes a cast apex joint housing. A pair of solid rods are threadingly received by the cast apex joint housing and an end joint assembly is attached to the end of each solid rod. A retention system in the form of a clamp or jamb nut secure the solid rods to the cast apex joint housing. A length adjustment mechanism can be incorporated between the solid rods and the end joint assemblies if necessary.

A stabilizer bar assembly includes a stabilizer bar and a pair of bushing assemblies. Each bushing assembly includes a first semi-circular member, a second semi-circular member and a hinge connecting the two semi-circular members together. The two semi-circular members encases the stabilizer bar and the two semi-circular members are encased by a frame bracket which attaches the stabilizer bar to a vehicle. Each semi-circular member includes an embedded rigid semi-circular member to control the compression and flexing of the bushing assembly.

Hinged/split reinforced clam shell bushing

A pivot bushing for a suspension system has an inner metal and an outer metal with an elastomeric bushing disposed between the metals. The outer metal has one end which is partially closed by an inwardly curved portion and one end which is open. The assembly of the bushing is through the open end. Once assembled the open end is closed by placing a cover over the open end and crimping the cover to a flange formed at the open end. In another embodiment, the cover is inserted into the outer metal and the outer metal is crimped to secure the cover in place.
