A dental guard and tray, includes a thermoplastic dental guard, and a generally rigid tray fittingly receiving the dental guard during heating and fitting of the dental guard to teeth of the user. The dental guard includes a pair of bite pads positionable below rear teeth of the user and a connection band that connects between the bite pads and is positionable behind upper or lower front teeth of the user. The rigid tray includes a pair of bite pad supports and a connecting arc, the bite pad supports each providing a planar depression or well for receiving one of the bite pads, the connecting arc spanning between the bite pads and having fingers located proximate a midpoint of the arc and configured to angle rearwardly and upwardly from the connecting arc so as to underlie and receive the band when the dental guard is received onto the tray.

Flying insect trap

A glue trap for trapping vermin has a base flap and a cover flap formed by folding a cardboard sheet to create a folding hinge. At least one slot is formed in the cover flap at or near the fold line. A target surface of non-drying adhesive is installed on or over the upper surface of the base flap. Optionally, a target surface of non-drying adhesive is installed on or over the upper surface of the cover flap. In one embodiment, a tilt trigger having a bent angle shape has its first arm appended to the target and its second arm inserted into the slot opening of the cover flap, and in contact with the rear surface of the cover flap. The trap is installed with the base flap over a horizontal support surface and the cover flap disposed at an angle thereto and preferably in contact with a vertical surface, such as a wall. Vermin will stick to the adhesive and try to escape, causing a tilting motion of the tilt trigger and urging the cover flap to fold over the base flap and over the vermin caught on the target surface. In another embodiment, a riser is formed at the fold line creating the hinge of the trap. Movement of vermin caught by the adhesive moves the riser near the fold line downward, which causes the cover flap to fold over the base flap at the fold line.

Glue trap

An air freshener has a rigidifying core defining a central axis, and an outer portion or sleeve contacting the core that is formed from one or more fragrance loaded polymers. Together, the core and outer portion are shaped to surround a first axis perpendicular to the central axis. The air freshener is made by injection molding a first shot of at least one polymer material to form the core, and injection molding a second shot of at least one polymer material incorporating one or more fragrance materials over or onto or into at least a portion of the core. The second shot of polymer material may be stretched about the portion of the core during injection molding, and may flow into a first hole formed in the core at or near the core distal end, and fills a second hole formed in the core at or near the core proximal end.

Dental guard and tray

An air freshener removably engages with a structure, such as the supporting post of a rear view mirror of a motor vehicle. The air freshener has a rigidifying core defining a central axis, and an outer portion or sleeve contacting the core that is formed from one or more fragrance loaded polymers. Together, the core and outer portion are shaped to surround a first axis perpendicular to the central axis. The ends of the air freshener are juxtaposed generally opposite one another in closed configuration, and the arm portions of the air freshener flex in directions substantially parallel to the first axis to separate the ends to open the air freshener. A breakable strap and/or connectors may be provided to join the ends together. Alternatively, one end of the air freshener may be inserted within a cavity formed in the opposite end of the air freshener.

A container for air freshening materials or other volatiles includes a receptacle or base and a cover that may be rotated from a closed position to multiple open positions while still engaged to the base to create vent passageway(s) between the cover and the base. A containment section of the base houses an air freshening material, such as a fragrance gel or potpourri, or a volatile, such as an insect repellant. The base further defines an alignment section adapted to rotationally and axially position the cover, an integrated sealing element, and an optional vent section. The alignment section includes a ramp and upper and lower locating elements coupled to the ramp. The alignment section engages at least one guide or a guide nub that extends from a depending arm of the cover. The guide or guide nub travels along the ramp from a first locating element when the cover is in a fully closed position to a second locating element when the cover is in a fully open position. In one of its multiple open positions, the cover is rotationally and axially displaced to specified height(s) above the container, allowing for fragrance or volatile material release.
