A ship engine includes a first turbocharger, a first intercooler, a second turbocharger, and a second intercooler. The first turbocharger is arranged at one end of the ship engine with respect to a crank axis direction. The first intercooler and the second turbocharger are arranged in an end portion of the ship engine with respect to a device width direction. The first intercooler and the second turbocharger are arranged side by side in the crank axis direction. The second intercooler is arranged at the other end (at the side opposite to the side where the first turbocharger is arranged) of the ship engine with respect to the crank axis direction.

The invention relates to a valve control means () for an internal combustion engine, having two cams () which are arranged one behind another on a camshaft (), the cams () having different cam contours, a drag lever system (), having a first lever (), a second lever () which is connected to the first lever () such that it can be rotated about a pivot point (), and a third lever () which is connected fixedly to the first lever (), the first lever () having a roller pickup () for a first cam () and the second lever () having a roller pickup () for the second cam (), the third lever () having a slotted guide () for the rectilinear positive guidance of a valve (), the drag lever system () being mounted at the pivot point () such that it can be adjusted on a circular path () about the rotational axis () of the camshaft () in a cylinder block or cylinder head of the internal combustion engine, and having a play compensation element () between the second lever () and the first lever () or the third lever () for play compensation and for limiting the rotatability of the second lever () with respect to the first lever () and the third lever (). The invention relates to a cylinder head () of an at least one-cylinder internal combustion engine with direction injection of a motor vehicle with a flame deck () and with an oil deck (). An intermediate deck () is situated between the flame deck () and the oil deck (), and at least one injector pipe () extends from the flame deck () up to the oil deck (). The intermediate deck () joins a lower area of an injector pipe (), particularly an injector dome () that is situated approximately centrally in the area of the flame deck (). When viewing from the flame deck (), the intermediate deck () extends outward in a concave-like manner so that the intermediate deck () joins a lateral wall () in a range of 40% to 60% of the distance between the flame deck () and the oil deck ().

The invention relates to a cylinder head comprising a water jacket that is delimited by a flame deck and an oil deck in a water-cooled reciprocating engine with cylinders that are arranged in series, each of said cylinders having at least one intake valve comprising intake ducts and two exhaust valves, whose exhausts open into exhaust ducts, in addition to a receptacle for a fuel injector or a spark plug that is located between the intake valve and the exhaust valves. The cylinder head is characterised in that a system of channels is provided at least in the vicinity of the exhaust side of each cylinder in order to conduct the coolant in the water jacket, whereby the coolant supply is conducted through said system from the exterior on one side of the exhaust duct towards the receptacle and is returned from the interior to the exterior on the other side of the exhaust duct and in that an overflow channel is provided.
