A claim ring for a lid, components thereof, and associated methods. The clamp ring is configured to maintain a lid on a mouth of a container to form a seal therebetween. The clamp ring includes a clamping mechanism including a wheel and a pull. The wheel is turnable to pull the pull to draw end portions of the clamping ring toward each other. A tool receiver can be engaged by a tool and turned by the tool to turn the wheel with the mechanical advantage of the tool.

The valve can include a flow guide to guide flow of material away from a sealing engagement between sealing members of the valve. The flow guide assists in preventing ingress of material between the sealing members to maintain proper function of the valve.

Gate valve sealing ring flow guide

A valve and associated components and methods, and a container including such a valve. The valve may be referred to as a non-rising stem gate valve. The valve includes a gate movable by a drive assembly to open and close the valve. The drive assembly includes a thrust bearing assembly configured to resist damage due to thrust force. The thrust bearing assembly can include a race threaded to a drive shaft of the drive assembly. The race can be pinned to the drive shaft by a roll pin.
