A heatsinking arrangement for a heat-generating component of a car radio, tape cassette or the like. A heatsink is connected to the chassis. The components are secured in place on the chassis by belt loops each having one end integrally connected to the chassis and the other end free of the chassis. The belt loops extend around the components and clamp them to the heatsink through openings in the chassis. A screw extends through a hole in the free end of each belt loop and through a registering hole in the heatsink to secure the free end to the heatsink.

Accordingly, the present invention is an automated connection for a vehicle radio. The vehicle radio includes a housing having a top plate, bottom plate, front and rear plates and side plates. A printed circuit board is disposed within the housing and secured to the bottom plate. At least one electrical female connector is secured to the printed circuit board. The front plate has a plurality of apertures corresponding to the location of the female connector. A male connector electrically connected to an external object is secured to the housing and adapted to engage the female connector to allow electrical connection between the external object and the printed circuit board when the front plate is assembled to the housing.

The present invention is an automated connection for a vehicle radio. A printed circuit board and electrical receptacle are disposed within a housing and secured thereto. An interface is secured to the housing for engagement with the receptacle to allow electrical connection between an external object and the receptacle.

An alarm system for an invalid in a hopsital bed includes electric switches placed on top of the side rails and foot rail so that a force applied to any of said switches by a patient results in activation of a warning device. In addition, means is provided for selectively illuminating the hospital bed. Two basic configurations of electric switches are provided, both of which are characterized by the provision of a first switch member which is actuated by light pressure or force, and a second switch member which is actuated by heavier pressure, e.g. when the patient attempts to climb or crawl out of the bed, which could result in injury to the patient due to a fall from the bed to the floor. The switch members when actuated serve to close electric circuits which may sound a buzzer, and/or a call bell, and/or illuminate the bed, so that a nurse or attendant is amply alerted to give attention to the patient.
