A coffee maker () has at least one removable portafilter () that can be inserted into a holder () on the coffee machine to carry out brewing. The coffee maker has a hot water maker () for producing and dispensing hot water under pressure and at least one coffee mill (). A filter element () is provided for repeated pressure-tight closing and opening of the portafilter () inserted into the holder () and a chute () is provided for introducing coffee powder () from the coffee mill () into the open portafilter () that has been inserted into the holder ().

Coffee maker and method for operating same

A reservoir for drinks dispensing machines having a reservoir body, an output line for outputting liquids in predetermined quantities, and a level compensation ability. The reservoir body above the liquid level is closed in a substantially air-tight manner, and a ventilation opening is arranged below the liquid level to achieve level compensation of the liquid level in the reservoir body.
